How do politicians make sure they accomplish what they set out to when they are in politics?

Says the dude that openly admits he has never ran or won a campaign before
Talking about yourself will get you everywhere - but not until you can fabricate some accomplishments to brag about. Being an “outsider” who has never run or won, only works once. Ask Trump.

There's also this to consider.
There are definitely places where Buzz's attitude and opinions would likely win. But I suspect that those places already have a bunch of other people with them. Quite likely people with better credentials.
I dunno.
Tom
Or more to the point, with better skills. I'm reminded of my former Congressional Representative. A glad-handing blowhard who never seemed to turn off his public persona. But he had confidence, a kind of charisma, and political skills, and went on to host a talk radio show after leaving Congress.
So far, 'ole Buzz ain't exactly exuding charisma or skill. Again, easily triggered into going off script. The politicians I've interacted with don't fly into a "you wouldn't say that to my face!" rage at all, let alone almost instantly.
Again says the dude that has never ran or won anything before in politics in his life.

Speaking of the easily triggered Buzz...

What was the political campaign you won? Can we have a link to your official page?

What your saying isn't even true I've already talked to the head of the republican party in my city and he's already talked to me about a plan of how I am going to run for a congressional seat when I run for office. What your saying isn't true at all.

The goals I am talking about I am clearly not going to say all these things to voters I am going to say what is going to get me the most votes then do what I want. What your saying isn't true at all.
So what you are saying is what you will say isn't going to be true at all.
The other thing that I find entertaining is that Buzz seems to think he's now a shoe-in for a seat in the US Congress because he talked to the head of the Republican party in his city.

It makes me want to say "oh bless your heart."
Either the local party flack is just as clueless, or 'ole Buzz is being sold a bill of goods.
It’s more than what you have going on. You haven’t talked to anyone, you aren’t doing anything in politics I am not you.

You can try to spin stuff all you want to but you aren’t doing anything I am.

By the time everything is said and done I will have done more in politics than you ever will in your life.

So, are you gonna challenge me to a fight next? Do you want to meet after recess, or lunch?

By the time everything is said and done I will have done more in politics than you ever will in your life.

Not unless you prostitute yourself. All Republican piliticians do it. You need cash MONEY. That's why Step#1 in my 4 step plan designed specifically for you says to get a Sugar Daddy.

you aren’t doing anything I am.
Nobody wants to do what you are. That’s why they’re not.
What you actually ARE doing whether you know it or not, is blathering away about your fantasies of unlimited power, in a backwater Internet forum inhabited by only a few dozen people who frankly see you as mentally unstable and generally challenged.
Or, as in my case, as someone’s experimental application of AI to a purpose for which its algorithms are ill suited.

I suggest addressing your ambitions to the new poster “deplorable” something. He seems to be of your political ilk, or at least closer to it than anyone else around here.

I had not considered the AI angle. Makes sense.

@NightHawkBuzz the fact is that even the Bible, the book foisted by all those Christian Nationalists who would vote you in... Have you ever actually read Matthew 19:12?

It's a whole diatribe about how "eunuch" is in fact a valid gender. In fact, if you want to prove to me your worthiness to lead towards a biblical future, you should cut your nuts off right now like the Bible says too.

So if there are only 2 genders, what the fuck are eunuchs? What is deciding to become a eunuch but a gender affirmation? Would you ban something biblically recommended?

I know a lot of Christians would ban being "non-binary", but what would you do? Hold me down and inject me with testosterone?

Correct me if I am mistaken, but neither have you won anything before in politics.

Yeah your right I haven't won anything in politics before either.

I said that because he was trying to destroy my whole campaign saying its "DOA" and I'm like dude you have never had a campaign or won a campaign in politics before in your life so you don't know what your talking about.

I said that because he was trying to destroying my whole campaign saying its "DOA"
You have offered no evidence to the contrary. You even declared other potential future Presidents’ campaigns as DOA for the very same reasons; they have never run or won. And neither have you.
So in effect, you are accusing yourself of destroying your own campaign by saying it’s DOA.

In that respect, I gotta agree with you.

I think you were a bit harsh. It looked like advice to me. Perhaps unwelcome from your POV.

I might add as a candidate, you need to induce voters who might not be initially attracted to many of your views. Think of posters here as skeptical constituents you wish to convince to vote for you.

Um...dude...

He has no power to “destroy your whole campaign” fro the pages of this website.
You, however, do have that power. What you have written here would destroy your whole campaign.

You have shown yourself to be be willing to engage in dishonesty and fraud, and easily angered and thrown off your game. It’s all here, in writing, forever. The internet never forgets.

How do you know? You have a lot to say for a guy who has never ran or won anything in politics in your life.

You don't know what your talking about, what your saying is wrong you have never ran or won any type of race in politics in your life.
A person does not have to have run for office to have a good ubnderstanding of what can kill a campaign. Many thousands of people operate in that space for a living.

Nevertheless,
You have never had a campaign or won a campaign in politics in your life.

I have had a campaign, and won a campaign and served in public office, and your campaign is DOA. You are unable to engage with people politely, unable to read a room, unable to understand the ethics surrounding a plan to lie to voters.

Moreover, you are unable to recognize that you have already gotten the advice you say you are asking for in multiple threads. It’s all there, some decent advice, that you don’t acknowledge, or follow up on or make any effort to discuss. So combining this evidence that you are uninterested in learning with the deficits noted above,

Your campaign is DOA in its current incarnation.

Buzz, your natural constituency consists of racists, homophobes, transphobes, and bigots of all stripes; it includes (but is not limited to) frauds, failures, buncombe artists, con men and swindlers; mouth breathers, knuckle-walkers, stump jumpers and scumbags; and corporate moneybags who use “culture-war” issues as a diversionary tactic to direct attention away from the fact that the Republican Party exists to siphon money and other assets away from the poor and middle class into the grasping, greedy claws of the ultra-wealthy. These are your people, Buzz. Play to the crowd.

So you are complaining about what the politically inexperienced people you asked (unsolicited) for advice regarding a political election / career are telling you?

Maybe you should have asked people you didn't think were so simpled minded and out of their league.

1. Passing a law that men and women are the only genders recognized by the U.S government
4. Banning gender affirming care
Can you explain why you are against trans people?

3. Overturning same sex marriage
2. A nationwide "don't say gay bill"
Can you explain why you are against gay people?
