Merged So what's next for Trump?

I understand that, but my question was, can you just write more shares and the share value doesn't get impacted? Or is this a manner of the market decides whether the shares are worth $40 still, after magically doubling them? Regardless, half'ing the price, he still is $1.5 billion, which is still obscenely ridiculous. What is the basis of him even owning 60% in the first place?
The founders gave him 90% to get him to join them. Issuing new shares would reduce his ownership and reduce the value of each share. He’s already trying to screw his partners out of the bulk of their holdings.

Trump is officially having new RNC donations go to his lawyers at this point.
article said:
Trump has invited high-dollar donors to Palm Beach, Florida, for an April 6 fundraiser that comes as his fundraising trails that of President Joe Biden and national Democrats. The invitation's fine print says donations to the Trump 47 Committee will first be used to give the maximum amount allowed under federal law to Trump's campaign. Anything left over from the donation next goes toward a maximum contribution to Save America, and then anything left from there goes to the RNC and then to state political parties.

Before the RNC and state political parties would see a cut of large donations, $6,600 would go to the Trump campaign, and $5,000 would go to the Save America PAC — which has been footing his legal bills.

article said:
Adav Noti, the executive director of the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center in Washington, said that is a break from fundraising norms. Usually, Noti said, candidates prioritize raising cash that can be spent directly on campaign activity. Save America, on the other hand, is structured as a "leadership PAC" and thus barred from spending directly on Trump's own campaign activities. Legal spending made up 85% of Save America's total operating expenses during the first two months of this year, roughly the same as 2023, when such expenses were about 89%. It has spent $8.5 million on legal fees so far this year.

So donate $15,000 to the RNC, and $3,000 actually goes to the RNC. Let's see how popular this is with the people that donate sums that high.

Trump was playing in a tournament but hit the ball off into the woods. He was going to quit and go back to the bar, but Melania started scolding him. "You lazy man, you get zhat ball. Now!" In a rage, he went off into the woods with Melania following. He found it faster than expected. Melania said, "Since we're alone, you zhould know, I'm leaving you. And if zhis hurts your political chances, I really don't care, do you?" Trump set the ball on a stump and swung with all his might. The ball smacked her between the eyes, dropping her like a sack of apples.
Two hours later, the doctor came out to the waiting area. "Mr. Trump, I'm sorry to tell you, but that ball got embedded in her skull and caused a fatal brain event." Trump said, "She's dead? You're positive?"
The doctor said, "Tragically, yes. And, when we examined her, we found a second ball that was shot into her rectum. Do you know how that could have happened?
Trump said, "Do you know the game, doctor? That was my mulligan."

The sad thing is that this should be a spoof, a joke, not real, an exaggeration. But it is just the tip of the iceberg.

Number of shares tripled... and the stock is going up after hours by 20%, up to $60 a share.

The weird thing is that when you IPO, you get new money. Google raised a fortune and created an empire. This deal doesn't make new money. It just gives the cash to the board. So we've got a company that has no profits, no infrastructure to build out anything real. They had a wad of cash, but what can you really do with $300 million these days? It seems like a pyramid scheme at this point. People are buying into a fad. Sure, maybe somebody has an idea, but Fox News already exists. Truth Social is limited due to its branding and consumer base.

The worse part is that the board is made of syncopates, not (as far as I know) anyone with an inkling of ingenuity on how to create something big, other than illusions.

When the DJT issue comes out, is anyone else planning to spring for some puts?

I suspect that DWAC will be coming down to earth too, but it is a little more “actual” than what I understand of DJT.

If Trump were to win the presidency, the value would spike further. So it may seem like a reasonable gamble to some. Even if he doesn't win, just the fact that he is running will guarantee that this platform gets reported on regularly. If he goes to jail, it could become popular with his posts from a jail cell. As things stand, the news media cites Trump's activity on it regularly. I think it's here to stay for at least another year, as long as the old geezer makes it through one more year. It is an online magnet for goofballs, fascists, and racists. Hence, a worthy competitor for Musk's bruised and battered version of Twitter.

Oh jeez, can't they restrict his online hours?
Do all prisoners get unlimited internet access, or just the ones who own judges?

Well, it appears the volume is no longer an issue for the stock. 20 million plus already today.

Truth Social has a ceiling, of which it likely is already at, unless it is the official platform the end of our democracy, by Twitter can already do that. Truth Social is a niche brand. It has consumer loyalty, but it is limited. How can this company actually build something that it can monetize when Fox News, OANN, Newsmax exist as well as Twitter, and the likes. Trump's cult of personality is this stock's only asset of concern.

Fox, OANN, Newsmax, and Twitter are all parasites living off of Trump's celebrity. Trump created Truth Social to cut out those who were stealing revenue away from him. That's why he started it. If he went away, those other organizations might have to start cutting back on staff. Trump is the commodity at the center of the extreme right cottage industry that has ballooned with Trump's takeover of the Republican Party.

Stable genius at work again.

He {Trump} claimed that “the people at the stock exchange {NYSE} are very, very upset” that he decided against listing the company on the NYSE and that “the top person is mortified, can’t believe it.” And he said of this supposed NYSE official: “He said, ‘I’m losing business because of New York – because people don’t want to be in New York and they don’t want to go on the New York Stock Exchange.’ So you can ask them about it,” he said.
So Trump is alleging that the NYSE is upset DJT isn't on the NYSE. He concocts the story above. For those unaware, the NASDAQ is also in NYC. Trump just has to lie about everything.

Donald Trump's recent success on the golf course has been called into question by a sports journalist who previously accused the former president of cheating.

Trump, the presumed 2024 GOP presidential nominee, this month won both the Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. He previously claimed Super Senior Championship glory earlier this year.

The 77-year-old took to Truth Social and Instagram to share the news, writing: "A great honor to have won both the Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship this week at Trump International!"

Ahead of being awarded for his wins, Trump wrote on Truth Social on March 24: "It is my great honor to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. I WON BOTH!"

"A large and golfing talented membership, a GREAT and difficult course, made the play very exciting," he added. "The qualifying and match play was amazing. A large and distinguished group will be there tonight. Very exciting, thank you!!!"

Former Sports Illustrated columnist Rick Reilly, who has known the president for three decades, responded to Trump's social media post by challenging him to compete on a golf course that doesn't fall under his portfolio of properties.

"Call us if you ever win one on a course you DON'T own and operate," Reilly wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

As of press time, the post has garnered more than 700,000 views. Newsweek has contacted a representative of Trump via email for comment.

Shares liquidated by near 3x, but stock up nearing 50% in one day. Making this a paper $4.5 or so billion for Trump.
