Credit Where Credit is Due: a shout out thread for Things Trump Did Right

Overall Musk and his team have been finding significant fraud and waste though.

Cite?
I would cite all the X posts Muck has made (which is substantial) but that wouldn't satisfy you. It would not satisfy you because Rachal Madow didnt say it.

But if you really want to know all the ridiculous amount of fraud that has already been discovered just read what Musk has said on X. He is in charge of DODE so what he has discovered is about the best source you can get.

And while I'm not a betting man, I would bet that if an audit was conducted slower they could have saved MORE money and laid off FEWER employees. Elon is running this like a company....the first thing they look at is laying off.

Do you think Musk's comments are objective? Is he expert on the FAA, Dept .of Energy, Social Security Administration and all the other agencies which have come under his attack?

And even with stipulations I'm pretty sure you're familiar, at least conceptually, with URL's and quoting excerpts as many of us use when presenting evidence here at IIDB. Can you quote some of Musk's remarks that you find to be useful evidence? We don't need ALL of his remarks, just 2 or 3 of the most helpful.

Thanks.

Do you make a distinction between the terms "fraud" and "waste"?

For example, here's a list from a recent doge twitter post:

US taxpayer dollars were going to be spent on the following items, all which have been cancelled:
- $10M for "Mozambique voluntary medical male circumcision"
- $9.7M for UC Berkeley to develop "a cohort of Cambodian youth with enterprise driven skills"
- $2.3M for "strengthening independent voices in Cambodia"
- $32M to the Prague Civil Society Centre
- $40M for "gender equality and women empowerment hub"
- $14M for "improving public procurement" in Serbia
- $486M to the “Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening,” including $22M for "inclusive and participatory political process" in Moldova and $21M for voter turnout in India
- $29M to "strenghening political landscape in Bangladesh"
- $20M for "fiscal federalism" in Nepal
- $19M for "biodiversity conversation" in Nepal
- $1.5M for "voter confidence" in Liberia
- $14M for "social cohesion" in Mali
- $2.5M for "inclusive democracies in Southern Africa"
- $47M for "improving learning outcomes in Asia"
- $2M to develop "sustainable recycling models" to "increase socio-economic cohesion among marginalized communities of Kosovo Roma, Ashkali, and Egypt"

These may be considered 'wasteful' to you and other Trump supporters, but are they fraud? Were these outlays not what was intended by the departments and/or Congress?? What is technically fraudulent about these?

Can you point to a specific example of FRAUD? And we should expect that to be reported to the FBI right away, yes?

I guess you're not a fan of the written word! You identified Musk as your source, but instead produce Rand Paul (!) and Trump! I gave each video many seconds more than it deserved and learned:

* that Rand Paul thinks foreign aid is wasteful. Duuuh. Still, does that explain layoffs at FAA, NASA, and Depts of Energy and Education?
* Trump was upset about the FALSE fact that 4 million Americans over the age of 100 earned Social Security. Apparently this was a cause célèbre because I had just watched a video (by Rachel Maddow? !!) explaining how a teenage hacker could glance at SocSec data and come to this false conclusion. I'd explain it to you but it would be far far more educational for you to do the research yourself.

You show contempt for Rachel Maddow but then when asked for the evidence your Elon Musk has that he is eliminating fraud and waste can only trot out Rand Paul repeating your ignorant claim that foreign aid doesn't help U.S. and Trump farting out more lies. That these oafs are your "sources" while you view real journalists with contempts tells us much about you, and nothing about the alleged fraud or waste Musk is fighting.

Does your revered Muck make it hard to copy/paste his tweets?

@RVonse --

Who is more likely to be expert on the regulation of food and drugs? The head of the FDA, Donald Trump, or Musk's teen-age hackers? Or, in your "libertarian" mindset is the very idea of regulating food and drugs a bad idea?

Here's another challenge for you: Are you familiar with the government's Inspectors-General? They are the high-ranked officials charged with finding and eliminating fraud and waste!! ! EXACTLY the goal that you and Trump supposedly favor. Yet these Inspectors-General -- many appointed by Trump-45 himself -- were the first to get cut right after the Inauguration. I guess you think Musk's hackers would be more competent at this?

Anyway I offer you what YOU were UNABLE to offer US: A look at some of the "fraud" and "waste" that Trump-Musk have uncovered. The linked video may be too remedial for most Infidels, and RVonse probably won't even click when he learns it's from MSNBC, but if we can somehow open RVonse's eyes and help him understand that Trump the Stable Genius is neither stable nor a genius, we'd be able to celebrate! One American saved from the cesspool of fascist adoration, 59,999,999 to go! 8-)

First, X is the biggest spreader if misinformation in the world. Second, volume doesn't equate to truth. If a person posts utter bullshit, it's still utter bullshit no matter how many times he tweets.

He is in charge of DODE so what he has discovered is about the best source you can get.
He is also in charge of Twitter and said that it needed a total rewrite. He was right there, looking at it and declared the code was shit. He was asked to identify what part of the stack was junk. He was right there....the expert....the smartest man in the world. Listen to his short clip and listen to him explain a simple question of "what is wrong with it".

I would call this a listing of porn corruption. It is an utter and total embarrassment of our Congress.

And here is how I would handle this if I were Trump. I would first enlist someone like McConnel who is learned with the parlor tricks of congress and then I would go to the American people on X, Truth Social, and Joe Rogan. I would say "Do you want to get rid of inflation or do you want to spend money on this shit?" "Do you want government to borrow money for your health care or do you want to borrow money for this shit?" "Do you want better infrastructure for America or do you want this shit?"

And then I would let congress vote on an omni-bus bill to REMOVE spending on all of your list of corruption. And I would advertise and mock whoever did not vote for getting rid of this.

If an uninformed layman like myself can think of a solution like this, you can bet Musk and/or Trump will know what to do. Musk has the brains and Trump has the experience in hardened corruption to be the first to undo what Congress has farted out on the American people.

I don't trust the "deep state" aka bureaucracy to do anything but help themselves to the tax paying hog trough. And you shouldn't either.

Trump has already said he will be taking this to Congress if necessary. Unlike the Democrats, Musk is being transparent.

Lies are not transparency.

Obviously these people who hooked US on fentanyl are the bigger experts :D
Yes....Special K is a better drug and the preferred drug for White house advisors.

I long for the good old days when taking this to Congress would have been REQUIRED...not "if necessary"

Hi RVonse. Obviously I disagree with almost every word in your post. No, "disagree" was too weak of a word. My mind boggles and pities you for your total confusion. But I will comment only on choice of media for informing "the American people." X, Truth and Rogan. I guess you have no interest in informing "libtards" or anyone but the most deluded Trump fans?

BTW, I'm surprised you commend Mitch McConnell. Did you not know he was one of only three Repub Senators to vote No on Hegseth?
