The Purge

It is even possible to say (without any proof or evidence) Musk probably would not have bought twitter and allied himself with Trump had he not seen all of Soros completely corrupting the entire country year after year. After all, Musk is an engineering guy not normally into politics... but he knew the country was on a precipice. All thanks to George Soros DOJ engineering!
Oh, good lord! If Goerge Soros did 10 percent of what the right has accused him of it would still be far less than their accusations Musk and Trump's blatant crimes.
I will interpret your post as presented

Thank you for that.

The initial goal is a 40-50% workforce reduction in all federal agencies.

DOD will start shedding civilian support staff next week. Look for up to 2 million joining the unemployed in the coming months. But they aren't really unemployed and will stay off the rolls because they are still getting paid.

Some through Sept 30th, some through Dec 30th.

No group will be spared.

You have to admit this is a little funny. I bet they destroy the entire FBI and maybe CIA and roll the remains into DHS.

Not sure this is true. The so-called “deferred resignation “ deal deadline is passed. The majority of firings this week were illegitimate “for cause” firings of probationary employees. Is there a reason to believe that future personnel cuts will get some kind of deal to pay them through the fiscal year as you suggest?

Nobody who took the deal has been processed out yet.

Retirements and VERA are processing out either today or next week. They can't make up their mind. Likely pushing up the original Feb 28th date to today so they can keep a steady reduction in the news cycle. With way more leaving by month end than the under 1 year terminations.

My wife was a Fed employee and is taking a VERA offer. We have been told salary payments for that will go to the end of year. Retirement and VERA allows us to stay on government health insurance for life. But who knows because they are flopping around making stuff up as they go. Could cut everything off today, Sept, whenever.

They changed the return to office date for employees 3 times by email yesterday alone. There is no structure to this effort.

Once they process this wave and see who decides to move/go back into the office, I think they'll offer another buyout with termination threat to try to get more than took the last "Fork in the Road" offer.

Between Fork takers, retirements, early retirements, and under 1 year terminations they likely get a 10% reduction in workforce at months end. They've just started the process of reviewing groups and employees to target for termination. And trying to figure out how and where they want employees to return to office. They squeeze by threat and offer something another 10-20% may jump on it. Only those stuck with no options will remain.

"The CIA being overthrown by a right-wing coup is, one must admit, a pretty hilarious outcome for the Agency."

I don't think the CIA is being overthrown, some people are being fired, and I suspect the next phase will be mostly Democrats and moderates. Trump is at least targeting revenge-type strategies verbally regarding other agencies. So, overall, a leaner and more right-wing CIA might result, if that is true.

It will become a domestic surveillance unit.
The CIA has long been a thorn in Putin’s side, so Donny has to fix it for him - as he alone can do. Killing it outright would be stupid, when he can de-fang it for Putin purposes and retain it for his “retributive” activities.

Well, someone has to be employed to move all the people with mental illness (Trump Derangement Syndrome) to wellness farms.

Remember, there are more people to commit to the violence to send people to such farms than people able to handle them... If each and every one of us kill one or more of them as they come to take is away, they will fail.

Who knows what the cost in blood would be, but better to bleed and die at home than to sweat and die in a camp.

One can be certain that if the CIA recruits any new replacement personnel, there will be Russian and Chinese agents who have infiltrated MAGA amongst them. Might even have some European spies. With all this chaos in USA it is a perfect opportunity for foreign agents to gain influence in American organizations, even if not employed by them, as can influence actual employees.

After seeing first hand Soros purge enemies
Who saw such a thing first hand RV? Not you, or you could provide details.
I never heard that BS before, and couldn’t find anything like it in credible media - Even right wing media - so I asked AI:

“There is no evidence to support claims that George Soros has “purged enemies.” Soros, a billionaire philanthropist, has been the target of numerous conspiracy theories, many of which are unsubstantiated and often rooted in antisemitism. These theories accuse him of orchestrating global events or funding controversial movements, but they lack credible proof. Soros himself has stated that he is proud of the opposition he faces, viewing it as a reflection of his activism for democracy and open societies.”

@RVonse do you know what a philanthropist is?
It’s the opposite of “greedy criminal bastard” e.g. Donald Trump or Leon.

How did you ever get so deluded?

Watch Musk fire half of the people who process federal retirements. To my knowledge that's still done all by hand in a cave in Pennsylvania. I'm suppose to submit my paperwork in late April. This is gonna be a shit show.

Has it been clarified as to where the money will come from to pay these people the eight months they aren’t working?

Maybe take it out of the 2 trillion they’re going to save or the four trillion they’ll increase the debt limit by?
Nah. Just stiff ‘em. Billionaires need all those trillions for tax breaks.

We finished the paperwork last Thursday. The guy on the meeting got 350 emails overnight and 9 voicemails while my wife was talking to him. To say they are busy in an understatement.

The last appropriation pays for it through the government fiscal year. So think of it as pre-paid.

The goal is to destroy everything so there is nothing for Congress to spend on next cycle, making the spending bill then smaller.

So yes, it's a waste to pay people not to work, but the cost of employees is minor anyway. I think we gave more money to Ukraine last year than the combined cost of fed employees for the 250 year history of the country.

They could likely keep all government employees for Trump's 4 year term in exchange for one F-35 and have billions left over.

Check your sources.
If you place full retail value on stuff we gave Ukraine so we wouldn’t have to pay to destroy it ourselves, you’re still not even close.
Our ANNUAL federal payroll is (was) 110 billion.
As of February 2025, the United States has provided approximately $53.7 billion in direct military aid to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion in February 2022.
Less than half of last year’s payroll alone.

WHO IS FEEDING YOU THIS BS?

I mean, exact figure for historical total payroll figures are not even available, so someone is blowing smoke.
