Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan were both exalted for their supposed good temperament and sound principles-what joke, even then. Nixon was politely dismissed, so’s not to sully the Office by giving him what he deserved. Then, in the 1990s conservatives ripped on Bill Clinton’s personal behavior, and framed it as a “character issue”.
All that pearl clutching went right out the window when The Felon tore them a new asshole and made a mockery of the 2015 GOP debates. What an eye opener for conservotards!

I don’t think they necessarily got worse, it’s just that prior to Trump they just assumed they had to follow some modicum of ethics.

The unredacted JFK documents release includes person information on living people including their social security numbers. Of course these people are not happy fearing identify theft. White house says there is a plan to change their SS numbers and monitor their credit. White House makes this out to have been the plan all along but bets that they are simply incompetents and came up with this plan after it was pointed out and it's all ad-hoc. And will they even do it?

I wish that we wouldn't shout them down because that only feeds their 'paid liberal protester' narrative. Ask a tough question and let them answer. If they talk around it or give a non answer - press them one on one. Hopefully a Republican will stand up and do the same thing. I know there are a lot of upset people out there, but in many ways we HELP them more than hurt them.

I wouldn't have a problem with the US being a member of the Commonwealth but...why would they want us given Trump's behavior. After threatening Canada which is also a member of the Commonwealth. Another example of how Trump is batshit crazy.

And wouldn't this mean that the US had a monarch? Even a powerless Monarch is likely unconstitutional.
