Are people already regretting their choice?

The Senate just passed its version of Trump's feed the rich, eat the poor bill, so I imagine a lot more MAGAs will be regretting their choice before too long. Now it's back to the House to see if it passes there. It probably will. Only 3 Republicans had the courage to vote down the bill in the Senate. The cult is so deeply ingrained.
Somehow the Dems are going to blow this opportunity.

From my understanding, the cuts aren't going to happen until 2027, so the retards are going to again vote Red in 2026*. By the time 2027 rolls around, the Dems are going to be blamed for it and will utterly fail at fighting back.

*I believe legitimate voting ended in November of 2024.

I'm trying not to be so negative. But, it's true that since a lot of this shit doesn't kick in until 2027, the Dems have their work cut out for them, since too many people don't bother to pay attention to what's in bills like this one.

They better start now. They have the money and the personnel. Let's see what happens. But again, I don't think voting matters anymore. What SCOTUS says goes, and if voting fraud and discrimination are brought before them, they'll find in Trump's favor whatever the case may be.

I heard: Some parts kick in Oct, 1st 2025, Some Oct, 2026.
I did not hear 2027.

Oct, 2026 would be just right to make people mad again, and vote the Repugs out in Nov.

Terrifier 3

This is NOT a movie for most people, but gore-horror fans will/do love it.

Art the Clown returns during Christmas time and dresses in a Santa outfit for much of the movie. The same heroine is back from Terriffier 2. Horrific things ensue.

The movie is gory, grizzly, merciless, and relentless, yet very creative in its execution. It breaks nearly every existing taboo in cinema and does a good job of it. It'll give nightmares to some, but others will delight in the creepy carnage. I haven't been impressed by slasher flicks in decades, but this serious, along with In A Violent Nature have done this sub-genre solid service. Finally, there are comedic moments sprinkled throughout which are pretty clever.

Horror Scale: 8/10

Non-Horror Scale: Utter Disgust

Clearly, some people are taking this "haha you got what you voted for" thing a little too far:

Screenshot of a social media post expressing hope for safety and criticizing Kerr County MAGA voters.
People say stupid shit. This is a non-partisan reality of life.

Looks like this post is real / legit, for a change, and the person was fired. I hope she learns humility in this. The same humility I wish alt-right conservatives that get boners over shipping allegedly undocumented people to a super-max prison in El Salvador would learn.

Kerr County did not vote in a way that impacted the emergency preparedness of the county. Most early warning systems are installed after the fact, rather than before. We do know that FEMA and Kristi Noem did impact the response by FEMA in Texas, creating needless hurdles that could have cost someone their life. I don't think a single conservative would have supported such delays, but many of them don't understand how emergency response management actually works, and end up supporting the very things that, to their ignorance of, can and will cost people their lives.

Yeah, Hanlon's razor still applies. Most MAGAs aren't evil, just gullible and woefully ill-informed.

I prefer the term Stupidly Uninformed because they have every chance to be informed but choose not to and end up believing the stupidest shit out there.
