Those kinds of things, get his base laughing because he owned the libs. The die-hards and some others love it. They aren't all the same, though, and I am sure some do not like it. It seems like Hillary was right--half a basket of deplorables. Of course that wasn't politically correct to say, even though it was true, and media, institutions, and the half a basket all came down on her hard...but she was right.
 
So Hegseth is talking and nothing in happening in the meeting that couldn't be performed in a Zoom meeting, that the military needs to be tougher. What I don't understand is... he is also giving a foreign policy speech to the military. He said FAFO is the new policy. The military acts on the orders. FAFO is Trump's and Hegseth's policy not the military's.

I'm curious whether Hegseth is telling them to be prepared to kill some civilians.

And the military supporting illegal actions by Trump in DC has to of dropped to 30,000 to 1.

This guy is an idiot. And no one at that speech will walk away thinking otherwise.

We are going to make the military larger because we can fire whomever we want. Because we are taking fewer people, we'll be bigger. That isn't even coherent.

Remember if you're at all concerned about this, you're just "overreacting".

 
Basically, "Hello Generals and Admirals. We want to use the military to murder anyone who doesn't like Trump. If this makes you uncomfortable, please leave the military so you can't stop us from doing that."
