I’m sure many atheist know God incarnate walks the Earth but keep that a secret so they don’t look deranged. You see, the true blue atheist rejects God when they know he exists. The atheist that rejects storybook gods I like to call weekend warriors.

Interesting pastime. Do you know anyone who accepts all gods equally? B’cuz it seems like everyone’s god is da best, so if one is good, accepting them all would be that much better.

I have to work weekends - big place, animals… it’s a lot of work for an old man at high altitude. Warrioring is for kids.

Not really. Most gods are polytheists, and recognise other gods (even if they don't like them much). The god of the Abrahamic religions is very clearly a polytheist, and gets pissed off when people worship other gods, not because those gods don't exist, but because they do.

Obviously the gods from explicitly polytheistic traditions are polytheists - you might hate your family, but you can hardly deny their existence, particularly when they keep thwarting your plans.

Christians believe in a trinity of gods. There are lots of Christians.
There are so many Christians that I don't think it works to say there's any kind of consensus that there's only one god.
Let alone a strong consensus.
And even if there were something like a consensus, the logic of my argument extends beyond just voting for what's most popular.
