How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Projecting again? No one in Russia considers it a great idea.

Putin does not need to invade anyone. All he needs is to start North Stream 2 and wait until all contracts with Ukrainian pipelines expire.
Ukraine and US, on the other hand, realize that they need some drastic shit to prevent that.

All this talks about Russia invading Europe is nothing but their retirement (MIC) plan.
None of these clowns believe a single word they are saying, they just want money which come from idiot taxpayers.
We did not start this war/invasion, the West did.
Yeah, I remember that day, when "the West" drove Russian tanks across the border into Ukraine. tried to take Kyiv, and got utterly humiliated.

Every time that Putin fucks up and looks like the clown he is, we know that it wasn't Putin at all, it was "the West" wearing a Putin mask.

And we would have gotten away with it, if it hadn't been for those meddling kids.
The West invaded Ukraine in 2014. And it the West who looks like nazi clowns.

Metaphorically speaking, he is correct. It's a western ideal to value freedom and democracy. And when Yanuk didn't follow the constitution, and instead killed about 2,000 civilians, he was lawfully impeached. The vote was 328 to impeach; 68 voting either nay or abstain. Shortly after Yanuk resigned. A country daring to impeach a dictator and take back their country is a westernized country. This probably would not happen in Russia.

It's surprising about how little you know about Ukraine and/or Eastern Europe. But I see that you also need a lecture on the events in Ukraine in 2014 commonly called the Euro Maiden or Revolution of Dignity. First off, Yanuk was pro Russian Ukrainian president. He was elected in 2009 with a majority 35% of the vote. He actually ran on economic modernization and greater ties with the EU. However, over time, Russia put pressure on him to backslide on his democratic roots. In November 2013, Yanuk withdrew from signing an economic agreement with the EU that had been overwhelmingly approved by the Ukrainian congress and greatly favored by the people. This sparked massive protests. Then in January of 2014, Yanuk had over 100 civilian protestors killed by Russian snipers. This absolutely incensed the Ukrainians against him. Then he fled the capital to Russia. Once in Russia, he resigned from office. The next day, he was impeached. Many of his own party voted for the impeachment.

Barbos: no charge for the above history lesson. But please do some research before you opine next time.

It's not me, it's you.

Meanwhile Odessa is still without water and electricity. Also Russia is taking EuroClear to court.

Yea because your country attacked Odessa! Do you understand why Ukraine hates Russia so much? ending Russian rubles to Ukraine to cover some of the cost makes sense to me.
And this is becasue Ukraine/US/EU attacked Russia.
Rubles? what are you talking about?

The Baltic states will have a final decision on moving forward with the removal of Russian gauge rail lines through their countries early next year. The EU supports this and will fund a standard gauge rail system. For the EU, the main driver is the ability to quickly move troops and equipment. Currently that advantage belongs to a belligerent Russia. The EU aims to flip the script.
But this also will make Russia’s ability to supply Kaliningrad with anything and everything much more difficult and expensive as it will all have to be done by sea and air. In a conflict with the EU and the Baltic Sea being NATO’s private pool, Kaliningrad would fall quickly I would think.
This also takes away Belarus’ rail transport. It also removes rail link from China to the EU.

So, how does the Russian mind interpret such a move? I would say, we can only imagine but we don’t have to, do we. No, we don’t. This is obviously a clear and totally unwarranted act of aggression against the Russian citizens of Kaliningrad, innit? Totally unwarranted.

Oh Vladdie, Vladdie what have you done?

Don't know if this Ukrainian attack on Russian Kilo class sub has been noted here.
An attack in a closed port. Well done. Now Russikies have no sub that can launch cruise missiles from Black Sea. And 1 sub left in total. How long will it last unscathed?

Eagerly await Barbos telling us the sub was actually a NATO one.

Come on man, you need to get caught up! Russia announced a couple days ago that they would sign written (not oral, but written!) guaranties that they won't attack the west after the Ukrainian war is resolved. You need to feel the vibes and trust the Tzars. The Russians are just fighting nato nazis who are being mean to Russians. That's all.

Two members of Russia's shadow fleet...
Belay my last.
Two former members of Russia's shadow fleet were taken out off the coast of Turkey by Ukraine's SBU.
There's no safe place. The Black Sea is as off limits to Russia's shadow fleet just as it is to Russia's Black Sea fleet.
Belay my last.
...Russia's former Black Sea fleet.

Screwed.

Here, you posted it.
