Epstein, Kiddies, And Trump. Oh, My

So British PM Starmer is the first victim of Epstein Files. Good riddance corrupt piece of shit war criminal.

Why is allowing a person guilty of trafficking little girls to be raped by the likes of Trump to survive meeting you a sign of your guilt, you ask?
More like: why do you think murdering somebody suspected of a crime is not just ok, but even a moral obligation?
Isn't that how we got a lot of lynchings in the South: the mob thought some black guys were guilty of rape, and acted like you want people to have acted re Epstein?
Is that seriously even a question?
Yes. It is. Neither you nor James Dobson should be judge, jury and executioner.

I'm just sad that whoever bit apparently didn't bite hard enough.
???

In any case, you got your wish. Somebody most likely did murder Epstein, and got away with it.

Now that I think of that, do you have an alibi?

Dr. James Dobson of Focus On The Family is in the Epstein files.
Being mentioned does not mean guilty of anything.
Certainly investigate but innocent until proven guilty.

Some people will have had the misfortune of being in the same room as Epstein at the same time. Proximity ≠ guilty
To be fair, being in the same room as Epstein while knowing who he is and him exiting the room alive is, I think, "guilt".
I need to keep reminding myself these days of just how much I oppose the death penalty.

Plenty of people very happy to prop him -Trump, that is—up, keep him going. Grift off of him which would be ..a kind of justice except that it’s your money and mine that is moving from one despicable person’s pockets to another’s.

I think plenty of people held their noses and ignored rumors and allowed themselves into proximity with Epstein for some possible connections that would lead to more wealth. I don’t think everybody in the ‘files’ knew or believed the rumors. There is a certain … sense of necessity to rub elbows with people who can connect you to other people who can connect you to the influence and money and power you need or think you need to further your own goals. In certain circles or levels of society.

But none of that comes close to explaining those who thought why not rape a 12 year old. When you’re rich and famous, you can do anything….

In an ideal world, or as ideal as I expect any part of this world to ever be capable of being, we would have justice that anyone might walk back from entirely painlessly and entirely by their own choice and consent, without coercion and with no external expectation of shame, for anyone, no matter how horrible they are.

We would have paths forward offered in such a way that all the ways people are may be understood, and people would know the "paths" through this "dark forest", and where they lead, and a map back or over or away from even the grossest of places, and a way to keep even those places from splashing harm.

In THIS world, the world we have to actually live in, where people seek to splash harm and revel in it, and structures of power are aligned into the foreseeable future to empower those folks... I think there's a time for justice and mercy and a path for all people, and sometimes there's a kid right there about to be raped or even killed, and the choice is "kill this guy or the child gets raped or killed", and this isn't even theoretical with Epstein, we know it happened many times for both "rape" and "kill".

I will accuse the people who stood by with all aplomb, that they have neither done the needful, as it were, nor even spoken the truth of things since.

Well, in the heat of the moment —sure. I could see myself killing someone about to do it in the process of doing serious harm to another person, especially a child.

Sentencing someone to death, months or usually years after their crime? That’s different. That is state sponsored cold blooded murder even if it is justifiable by the depravity of the crime.

I’d rather Trump be sentenced to sharing a cell with 10 or so of his most ardent admirers from say, Louisiana or Mississippi. And a strictly vegetarian, low salt/low sugar diet. Kid Rock playing 24/7.

I would much rather sentence him to a facility completely overseen by robots and drones as much as possible where he is taken care of as if he were a baby. No human interaction at all, and whatever footage exists edited to present him as feral as possible, with no possibility he is seen getting anything of note or prestigious nature until he has shown he is fit for society.

He would be given drugs, the kinda he likes, in quantities that he could easily use enough to end himself (and all the drones have whatever Narcan-like quick-response drug to keep him from dying that way, mostly).

Maybe even throw in a child sized sex doll that looks like his daughter, and another one of Ivanka (we both know which one would actually be "used"). Maybe coat the whole place in gold filigree and leaf. Make it the only color at all he ever sees except maybe his food (maybe even that).

He could exit any time he wishes: all he would have to do is pass a test of ethics involving telling the truth and why he is in that situation. In fact alongside everything he is given, there would be a little classroom he can go to hear about how and why people treat each other kindly and with respect.

Depending on the tech available, the idealness of the justice system, there might be some kind of "brave new world" box where pushing the button on it endows him the ability to feel BAD for what he's done. It would make him see his crimes through his victims' eyes and to feel negative things about himself the way others feel about him; and a second button on the box that he himself can push to make that change to how he experiences the world be permanent. The second button wouldn't activate until the first button had been consistently active for a few days, just to validate that's what he wanted.

I wouldn't do things to make him suffer I wouldn't deprive him of food he likes or put him with people he would hate or any of that outside his own consent; then he would be a martyr. Any suffering he endures must be directly self-inflicted, up to and including whatever kills him.

A person executed or punished or suffering under the hand of the state is a martyr to his followers. A person who self-destructs in what ostensibly to them should be paradise? I would rather document his descent into a creature of filth when he has a perfectly simple and viable exit open to him, perhaps even an "easy" one that only requires him pushing two buttons over the course of a few days.

Then, only real "key" part of it is that such people are in a gilded cage which they can walk out of "easily" by the decision to accept and understand and actively suffer the pain and guilt that for most people makes us better people.

I’m not interested in torturing or rehabilitating The Donald. I’m quite certain that he is among the top few thousand “most miserable” people on the planet already, anyhow.
I just want him gone for the sake of (almost) everyone else. I’d be just as happy if he dies peacefully in his sleep tonight as if he is captured by the North Sentinalese and eaten alive in small bites with hot sauce.
As long as he’s gone tomorrow, I really don’t care how or why. He is a blight.

I’d call him a cancer but…
But? I'm guessing that because cancer has no sense of right and wrong it can't be evil. It's just cells. Trump should know right from wrong but chooses to do terrible things. So he's worse than cancer.
Because cancer metastasizes. It invades other tissues instead of stopping at the boundaries of other cells. It kills in painful ways, often deforming and causing extreme pain.

I didn’t continue because I figured that was overkill: blight is good enough.

I would argue that it is crucially important to humiliate him so severely that no one would ever try to emulate him again.

Sure, that would be nice. Also if every single corrupt associate of his was to wake up in jail one morning, that would be nice too.
Right now, just getting rid of El Rape-O would be real good.

I just think you'll be playing whack a mole if Trump simply goes with zero consequences. I hope I'm wrong.

I agree … with the caveats that
A) some moles are easier to whack than others, and
B) whacking moles is a skill, and as such gets better with practice. If/when Trump gets knocked out of the game, the next mole is going to be facing a fairly well oiled whacking machine. But if Trump is left in power past January 2029, we’re fucked even when he croaks.
We just need to get busy whacking the first mole; practice makes perfect!

Gotta admire the work ethic there. Getting started on your job as soon as possible is an admirable trait.

The DOJ releasing unredacted victim information should lead to heads rolling, but it won’t.

Whether this is incompetence or malice, the reality is the same: once something hits the internet, it never truly disappears.
