Suspect dead after ramming truck into Temple Israel synagogue in Michigan: Sheriff

A suspect is dead after a shooting and vehicle ramming incident at a synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan, according to Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard.
The suspect, who is believed to have had a rifle, died after a shootout with security, according to a senior federal law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.
Nobody inside the synagogue was hurt, Bouchard said, and the synagogue noted that all 140 students as well as staff, teachers and "heroic security personnel" are all accounted for.
Eight first responders are being treated at hospitals, Henry Ford Health said.
The sheriff noted that one synagogue security guard was hit by the suspect's truck and was “knocked unconscious” but is expected to be OK.
Temple Israel in a statement said the security personnel who confronted the suspect are "heroes" and the "teachers followed their training and kept the children safe and calm."

No information yet on the perp's identity or motive. Could he be linked with Iran?

Mr. Jalloh, a former member of the Army National Guard, was arrested by the F.B.I. in 2016 after an undercover investigation in which, the authorities said, he bought an assault rifle in hopes of conducting an attack. He pleaded guilty, was sent to prison, and released in 2024, the people familiar with the case said.

It looks like the only fatality again is the perp. That's good.

Three brothers have been arrested in connection with the explosion at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, Norway, authorities said Wednesday.

The brothers were Norwegian citizens of Iraqi origin, police prosecutor Christian Hatlo said in a news conference. They have been arrested around 3:30 p.m. local time Wednesday on suspicion of a "terrorist bombing" at the building. The men are in their 20s and were not previously known to police, Hatlo said. Investigators are still working to determine a motive, Hatlo said.

"We are still working from several hypotheses. One of them is whether this is an order from a government entity," Hatlo said. "This is quite natural given the target — the U.S. embassy — and the security situation the world is in today," he said.

Later, their mother was arrested too.

Norway and other western countries are way to quick to give Muslim migrants citizenships.
