1) How do we know the man is "MAGA"? There is no audio, Trump signs or Maga hats that I could see.
2) How do we know the delivery guy is Hispanic? How would the "MAGA guy" know?
3) How do we know the man was ready to call ICE?
5) There is a 3 minute cut in the video between 1:04 and 1:07 when the guy appears. What's up with that?
7) Is it possible the "MAGA guy" didn't know it was a 1am Amazon delivery and assumed it might have been a prowler he heard outside?
8) How do we know the police confirmed the driver was legally delivering packages?

1, 2, 3 = Just making a call to ICE, is strong evidence that you are a MAGAtard.
If you suspect a burgler, sane people call the police, not ICE.
5 = Time to wake-up, find/load his gun, call ICE?
7, 8 = The Amazon jacket and package would be a clue.

I question why Amazon makes deliverys at 1am?

I do too. I can watch run reruns of that gentle comedy of a stereotypical white suburban family of the late 1950s to early 1960s with virtually no people of color (1 black character - a maid- in 234 episodes). But that doesn’t detract from the irony I noticed.

At the time I started using it I didn't realize it was a slur. i just wanted something unique back when usernames were limited to 8 characters.

I think Loren is married to a slant. Maybe he can rate the offensiveness of “Ziprhead” for us. Our looney did have the common courtesy to remove an “e” and a “p” from “zipper head” prior to use. I think that should have rendered it harmless. But then, I ain’t no Chink so I can’t be sure. If Japs are offended they shouldn’t have bombed our harbor!

This is seriously the reason I started avoiding doing things like sending flowers or any kind of gift through Amazon. There have been a lot of reports of ICE abducting/arresting drivers for various delivery services, including Amazon. Note: The drivers were generally not undocumented although probably a few were. Universally, they were brown skinned.

Sometimes it’s regional/countey/country of origin related. Many years ago, I learned that zip ( as in zip code) was fuck in some Arabic dialects. My Spanish speaking friends are amused that Linda is a given name. My high school French teacher told us about her year abroad experience when after a lively meal, the hosts offered her more and she replied: Je suis plein, which literally means I am full but colloquially means I am pregnant.

The Japanese weren't called that, it came out of the Vietnamese and Korean wars.

For consideration... I didn't say Zipr should change it. I asked whether he was aware, and I also assumed that it wasn't intended as a slur. Whether Zipr chooses to change it based on that information is his choice, and I don't actually care. If I did care, I'd have made a stink about it years ago - it's not like it's a new name.
