Yet another war, this time with Iran

Good luck. Not only is antisemitism not racism (Jews are not necessarily a race), but you are dealing with a bigot against Palestinians who applauds their ethnic cleansing and calls anyone who thinks critics of Israeli policy are antisemites (except him).
The antisemites consider Jews to be a race. Thus it is racism.
Really - you know that antisemites always consider Jews to be a race because…?
Because they treat it as heritable.
And you are familiar with the motivations and reasoning of antisemites because….? I ask, because I know antisemites who hate the Jewish religion because it is not Christianity. Nothing whatsoever to do with race.
Just because not every antisemite considers it heritable doesn't make it not so. Look at the Nazis--specific inheritance definition of "Jew".

Jew is not necessarily heritable - converts don’t become Jews at birth.

Antisemitism is not necessarily racism. This started when our resident practitioner of “criticism of Israel” equated antisemitism with racism. That equivalence is false which made his virtue signalling attempt fail.

You are conflating things, mostly your own perceptions and prejudices with reality,

Hamas is at fault for starting this latest war. They are at fault for not releasing Israeli hostages to stop the destruction of Palestinian people.

Israel is at fault for the brutality of their response and for the rape of men, women and children which is a war crime.
And the evidence for this supposed rape?? Hamas rapes as normal practice. The have been some cases of Israeli mistreatment of POWs, but the rape allegations do not look credible.
Iran of course wants to be THE power in the Middle East And is delighted to throw money to Hamas to continue to distract from its domestic problems by casting Israel as a great satan, just as it has cast the US as the great satan.
That's part of it. The thing is they are getting covert control of many countries that way, not just a war with EastAsia.
Bibi and Trump are delighted to start and continue wars to distract from domestic problems and the fact that neither has any decent domestic policy plans. And to shore up their own impotence and dottering old age.
Trump?? You think he understands distract from domestic problems??

Bibi--just because he has personal reasons to like war doesn't mean it's the only reason.
Some right wing ‘Christian’ nationalists and just plain right wing ‘Christians’ are either longing for the rapture and hoping to bring it about or are atoning for past anti-semitism. Or think they are. A significant number are in it for the power and money.
Yeah. The End Timers are scary.
The rest of your post is just nonsense.

Palestinians and Jews are both Semitic people. They share much of the same cultural and religious traditions, as well as the same historic origins.
And calling it nonsense proves nothing.

Looking like Israel wasn't certain they could manage the Iranian response if they acted alone. And then let the US do the heavy lifting. And after all this... we gained what...?
We gained the absence of mushroom clouds.
Iran still has enriched material. Theocracy still exists. Iran wasn't actively building a bomb. So, let's try again.

Why does you brain go to mush whenever Iran comes up?
I've already explained that not actively building a bomb is about plausible deniability.

What peaceful use do they have for the highly enriched uranium? They sure haven't given any, they just claim it's "peaceful". Enrichment is extremely expensive, weapons grade enrichment even more so. Have they announced any nuclear-powered ships?? Reactors in space are old school, these days solar is cheaper until you're going past Jupiter, and then you go RTG, not reactor. Nobody's flown a reactor in a long time. (Admittedly, NASA is looking into reactors for nuclear powered engines for deep space, but that's a long way from flight and Iran hasn't gone above low Earth orbit.)

Cuba has made a pastime of causing trouble for the US. They get a menace to blame their ills on (never mind that they can trade with the rest of the area, the actual losses are small) and peaceful gestures from us get met with hostile ones from them to ensure the war with EastAsia continues.
Citation, please.

Not that it is important but you keep confusing Yuschenko with Yanukovych.
They both start with Y in english translition but it's really a diffierennt vowel sound.
Yuschenko was the first real nazi president of Ukraine.
Sorry, I stand corrected.
Please don’t buy Barbos BS. Yuschenko is not a Nazi. He’s a pro western Ukrainian who wants freedom from Russian oppression. His father was a prisoner at Auschwitz for gods sake. Russians today believe that anyone who opposes Russian supremacy and imperialism is a Nazi.
Anyone who awards "Hero of Ukraine" to a WW2 nazi is by definition a nazi. Yuschenko is a fucking nazi.
His father who was a Red Army officer and fought nazis would have been disgusted with his nazi son.
Jesus Christ! Do you think that if the Russians hadn’t fuckin poisoned him that he might not have been so anti Russian??! Your side would have far more friends if you stopped trying to kill people and bomb out their cities!!

It’s been reported by multiple news agencies:

One farmer initially agreed to let me use his name in this article. Released early this year after months in administrative detention — with no charges filed — he related what he said happened one day last year: A half-dozen guards immobilized him by holding his arms and legs while pulling down his pants and underwear and inserting a metal baton into his anus. The rapists were laughing and cheering, he said.

Several hours later, he said, he fainted and was taken to the prison clinic. After he woke up, he said, he was raped once more, again with the metal baton.

“I was bleeding,” he recalled. “I broke down completely. I was crying.”

After being returned to his cell, he said, he asked a guard for pen and paper to write a complaint about the assaults. The request was denied. And that evening, a group of guards came to the cell.

“Who is the one who wants to file a complaint?” one guard jeered, he said, and another guard pointed him out. “The beating started immediately,” he recalled. And then they raped him with the baton for a third time that day, he said.

And calling it nonsense proves nothing.

It proves that I recognize bullshit when I read it.

It is also actually not building a bomb. They could have by now. They hadn't.
What peaceful use do they have for the highly enriched uranium? They sure haven't given any, they just claim it's "peaceful". Enrichment is extremely expensive, weapons grade enrichment even more so. Have they announced any nuclear-powered ships??
It is weaponized, that isn't in dispute. What also isn't in dispute is they still fucking have it! So whatever the heck you seem to be supporting for stopping them doesn't make any sense because the only reason any Iranian bomb building isn't happening shortly is because Israel assassinated a number of nuclear scientists, not because the US seized possession of the enriched material.

Also not in dispute is that despite being in possession of the enriched, weaponized nuclear material, they haven't built a nuclear bomb and weren't imminently going to do so.

This doesn't make Iran a babyface, it doesn't give them a moral high ground. But it is a reality you seem to be having a very difficult time accepting.

Yugoslavia: You don't understand how bothered western people are about genocide if there's someone around to report on it.
There was no genocide until NATO invaded.
Nice job of getting it backwards.
Libya: Yeah, a defense pact. Does Pan Am 103 ring a bell? And, in the end, again, genocide.
OK, then Russia can invade US because what you did to native americans in 19 century or slavery.
Is that what you trying to say here?
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding you.

We have gone after Libya twice.

The first time was a response to Pan Am 103. It worked, Libya learned their lesson and didn't do anything like that again. (Do you realize that Pan Am 103 was a Libyan operation? Technically an act of war, to which both England the US would have been entitled to respond with anything up to and including a full invasion.) The second time was when he was importing foreign mercenaries to kill his own people in large numbers because his own army wouldn't fire on them.
Great job, now defend Vietnam War.

How is that relevant? and we did not poison him anyway.
I repeat: He awarded a "Hero of Ukraine" to a fucking WW2 nazi war criminal.

Cuba has made a pastime of causing trouble for the US
Riiiiiight.
Why do you need an outside agitator? The Ukranians didn't like a leader that was answering to Moscow instead of the people. Russia lost it's covert control and went for open control instead.
Wow just wow, do ever get tired of spewing BS?

Barbos is right that I made a mistake in names. Yanukovich was acceptable to Russia. Ukraine would have been safe with him. He had agreed to changes that people wanted. But NATO had other designs. They replaced Yanukovich and brought Russia upon Ukraine.

1) Iran. It matters because Iran wants them as a shield against retaliation for the acts of their terrorists. You have the same problem with Pakistan--they keep sending terrorists into India and you can't actually stop them because that would cause a nuclear war.

2) Cuba.
2a) Reality isn't a video game. You do not have immediate launch detection (especially back then, our systems have gotten much better since) and responses take time. The issue is a decapitation strike--attempt to take out our command and control before the launch order gets sent. That being said, we were out of line as we had done the same thing with missiles in Turkey.

2b) Cuba has made a pastime of causing trouble for the US. They get a menace to blame their ills on (never mind that they can trade with the rest of the area, the actual losses are small) and peaceful gestures from us get met with hostile ones from them to ensure the war with EastAsia continues. (For example, during a period where we were offering asylum to Cubans who landed in Florida they responded by putting a whole bunch of common criminals on boats and send them our way.)
1. We do not have any problem with Pakistan at the moment. We are strong in Kashmir and Punjab. Terrorism has nearly died down. People in Kashmir have their own elected government (of course, overseen by the Governer, we have not yet given it full state status). The four-day war was enough to show our determination, bombs or no bombs.
Israel's problems are different. The conflict is between religions and it will not end, even if Iran is destroyed. Israel's wanton killings and usurpation of Muslim land have made it worse. Some one or the other will take up the cudgels.
2a. That is the same problem faced by Russia with EU/American bases.
2b. Why did US allow that kind of assylum? To get people whom they could use against Castro's government. Every one tries to play a better game.

Why do you need an outside agitator? The Ukranians didn't like a leader that was answering to Moscow instead of the people. Russia lost it's covert control and went for open control instead.
That is a sham. Such agitations are carefully nurtured. They tried to do it in Iran also. They try to do it in India too with the opposition parties (George Soros et. al).
We understand that this is the normal international politics.
And you think that qualifies you to know 2 + 2??
AI is even worse than looking at a feed as it actively seeks out stuff to match your beliefs.
Whatever views you may have about it, DuckAssist, DuckAI have given me answers that are satisfactory to me. One may lead AI to give answers supporting one's beliefs, but I don't do that.
No, because you can usually discern which side is telling the truth.
I have had no such problem. I know what both sides are saying and why. At the moment, the opposition in India is crying about price rise. Don't these fools realize that prices have risen all over the world and probably one of the least in India. Say a 5-7% rise in petroleum products. Whether the prices rise even further or subside will depend on what that American fool will do in Iran.

I get the names wrong again and again. It was NATO and Poroshenko who brought war to Ukraine. "armiia, mova, vira" (English: military, language, faith).
I understand the situation correctly but stumble on names.

So NATO forced Russia to invade Ukraine for the second time? That sounds an awful lot like an abusive spouse saying to their partner, "Look what you made me do".

Applying for EU membership might cause Russia to attack.
Removal of Yanukovich got Ukraine the war. With Yanukovich, they might have got EU membership too. He was agreeable to it.
That was not the US/EU plan. Their plan was to make EU conditions so unbearable that Yanukovich rejects them and subsequently gets maidaned out. They even explained him that plan directly.
The war was the the goal of EU. Yanukovich was a terrible leader, he should have been more assertive in dealing with "protesters". Ukraine historically had weak central government.
