How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Let me dumb it down for victims of western propaganda. Kiev Regime does not strike refineries. They strike oil storage. The reason being the simple fact that refineries themselves do not catch fire and really hard to damage with small explosives anyway, you can hit a section of some pipe and it gets replaced within few days.
So Kiev regime strikes oil storage which provides very good pictures and a lot of ecological damage but in terms of hurting Russian export is inconsequential. Numbers show no effect from Green Goblin campaign against russian oil. In fact there is some reason to believe that Russia actually makes more money because they increase price due to this risk.
In general, Kiev regime sends hundreds of drones with most of them not reaching their target. Some do as in the case of oil storage in Tuapse. But that because russians did not expect that place to get hit because it was partially owned by americans and oil was mostly from Kazakhstan.
That's right. Regime in Kiev hit american oil storage.

And most of the ukro-drones do not reach their targets because they use cheap civilian GPS receivers and it is pretty much guaranteed to be jammed around important places. Ukro-terrorists work on AI capable drones which use visual information but that was not used in real attacks yet.
speaking of jamming, remember wunderwaffe called Excalibur?
it was rendered ineffective pretty quickly and we have not heard about it since then.

Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity
Marco Rubio visited Yerevan, backing PM Pashinyan’s pro‑western course and signed TRIPP corridor and strategic partnership deals

The fucker has to put his name on everything

US President Donald Trump's administration has been working on a road-and-rail corridor initiative called the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), which would run through Armenia and connect Azerbaijan with its Nakhchivan exclave.

I feel kind of bad I think I owe you an apology. I'm guilty of calling the blind dog that doesn't know he's sitting at the top of the stairs. It's simple bullying and that's never a good thing. I understand that you really have no control over what you post. Pointing out the obvious falsehoods and contradictions of your posts is pointless. You know they are false and contradictory, but you have a job to do and take your orders from your paymaster. Pretending that you are a serious analyst and shining a light on your shortcomings to entertain the crowd is just my own personal shortcoming. I really should try harder to see myself in your situation. I certainly wouldn't want your job. Coming here for years, touting the wonders and virtues of Russia, only to see it crumbling before the world's eyes has to be demoralizing. Credit to you for sticking with it.

By the way, if an oil refinery does not have storage capacity, it has to shut down operation or pour it's products on the ground. Bombing a storage tank stops production and destroys product at the same time. Damn it, there I go again.
I'll try to do better.

So you are saying they did not even fully halt during the strike?
And fully halted means- fully halted and then fully open a week later?
Of course is gets halted during oil storage fire. What do you expect?

for a week yes. Let me dumb it down for you again. To shut down refinery completely you need to physically destroy the equipment which is spread over significant area. To do that you need a lot of heavy bombs (500kg and more) Single 50kg charge is not gonna do it.

Depends on what you hit. You don’t need to destroy the entire refinery. Key components are difficult to repair and sanctions can make repairs even more difficult. Ukraine has been hitting refineries and seriously damaging them. You can deny it if you want but slowly and surely Russia is having serious difficulties. Typically Russia is down 10-15% of gas production and 20-25% at various times. That can have significant economic impacts.

Ukraine has a tougher time disrupting oil exports because a lot goes out via the Pacific which is generally too far for drone strikes. But who knows if that will change.

Yes, yes. I'm sure you know a lot about oil refineries and bombs.

One of the chief mission goals of an attack on a refinery, oil storage, etc, is showing that the target is vulnerable. Russia's air defense system is being degraded on a daily basis and pulling antiaircraft units away from the combat area to defend far off refineries leaves Russian forces naked.

Summation from Google AI. Numbered links are varied; Indian business, UK Times, Al Jazeera, Reuters, Canada's CBC, Euromaiden, and of course, Ukraine (United 24). In Google's response, there are many references to Moscow Times, I've yet to go through.

From my reading it is apparent more then just tanks and pipelines are struck. Of course Ukraine would know to target crude processing units/mechanical infrastructure of the facilities. To think otherwise would be silly. Targeting such takes a long time to get back on line due to difficulty of sourcing parts.

Google summation said:
The modern Russian oil refining sector is highly dependent on Western technology, leaving Moscow struggling to replace highly specialized proprietary software, heavy machinery, and catalytic agents. Because Russia's 40 largest refineries were heavily modernized using U.S. and European engineering firms, international sanctions have effectively blocked the precise parts needed to repair the high-value targets knocked out by Ukrainian drone strikes.
Reuters article:
US sanctions hamper Russian efforts to repair refineries
This from two years ago is still valid of course and given the increase in drone strikes, matters are much worse. I mentioned some time ago that Russia's working refineries have been running at capacity due to other's being off line and that this in and of itself means less time for routine maintenance. So now I will say, more than just being down for months due to the difficulty in repairing targeted facilities, Russia is likely in a state where the combination of targeted facilities and wear and tear on overworked facilities out of Ukraine's range are taking a toll. For this, Russia is lashing out with stories of teens being targeted, Ukrainian drones over Belarus as a pretext for attacking from there, and the warning to foreigners to leave Kyiv, a story Russia now seems to be walking back.

I'm still saying, the tide is turning

Or as Jim Morrison might say:

This is the end, beautiful friend
This is the end, my only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes again

Can you picture what will be?
So limitless and free
Desperately in need of some stranger's hand
In a desperate land

Lost in a Russian wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
All the children are insane

The West is the best
The West is the best
Get here and we'll do the rest
