How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

I take a non answer to mean no.
Why did you kill that granny?
Your shitty regime attacked my Country, unprovoked Attack at that. All because you thought that our existence was a threat to your post cold-war Hegemony.
The irrationality is obvious.

Cod War hegemony? Post WWII we helped rebuild Europe. Certainly France went its own way under de Gaulle.
We did not control Europe. We did not plant American flags in Europe.

AI Overview
No, French President Charles de Gaulle did not take France out of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) entirely. In 1966, he withdrew France only from NATO’s integrated military command structure, demanding that foreign NATO troops and bases leave French soil. France remained a member of the alliance's political body.

It was the Soviets who used force to maintain client states. The Berlin Wall was built to keep people from leaving East Berlin. Poland and the Gdansk shipyard, Solidarity.

AI Overview
No, Soviet (Russian) combat forces were not actively used or deployed to crush the Solidarity movement. The suppression of the trade union was carried out entirely by Poland's own military and internal security forces under General Wojciech Jaruzelski when martial law was imposed in December 1981.The Soviet Role and Martial LawInternal Action: General Jaruzelski implemented martial law using domestic Polish forces, such as the ZOMO (motorized riot police) and the Polish People’s Army, to avoid a direct Soviet military intervention. The Threat of Intervention: While Soviet troops stationed in Poland and neighboring countries conducted maneuvers and applied heavy political pressure, they remained in their barracks during the crackdown.Moscow's Preference: The Kremlin strongly supported crushing the independent movement, but preferred that the Polish communist regime handle the domestic crisis independently rather than risk a costly military occupation and severe Western economic sanctions.

Like I said, go to Poand and tell tem tey are Nazis, see what happens.

You can't make this shit up.
So Romanin F16s shot down 3 drones over the past couple of days.
Apparently the first 2 were ukrainians, because nazi cunt Ursula fond of lying in her stupid twit did not mention its origin. OK, stupid but OK. Then the third one was apparently russian and I really need to see see the evidence these were romanian territorial waters. I don't know what nazi Cunt said yet but romanians are expelling one russian diplomat :)

All this is irrelevant to that Russian men are dying everyday as they have for 4 years with no end in sight.

Russians are persona non grata in EU,

Russians are suffering economically.

You are welcome to your Russian misery guider Putin. Just keep it in Russia and leave other people alone.

I read fior or five book on WWII back in the 80s.

The Soviet atrocities on the Polish are documented. The NKVD was as brutal in WWII as the Nazi SS and Gestapo.

Stalin held an historical grudge against Poland. He made a non aggression pact with Hitler in exchange for part Of Poland.

Stalin nad Hit;er attcked Poand at te same time. Soviets and Nazis, six of one half a dozen the other.

You can say Stalin enabled Hitler to start WWII, Hitler attcked Europe without having to worry about the Russian flank.

When Hitler invaded Russia aide from Canada and thee USA over the North Atlantic saved Russia.

Yes, Joseph Stalin provided massive amounts of vital raw materials and economic resources to Adolf Hitler's Germany. This cooperation was established through a series of trade agreements tied to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact signed in August 1939.

The Hitler-Stalin Pact, also known as the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, was a 10-year non-aggression agreement signed on August 23, 1939, between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. It secretly divided Eastern Europe into mutual spheres of influence and paved the way for World War II.The agreement contained two primary components:Public Treaty: Outwardly, the two ideological enemies pledged to remain neutral, refrain from attacking each other, and not ally with any third power that attacked the other party.Secret Protocol: It delineated how Eastern Europe would be partitioned. Germany and the Soviet Union agreed to divide Poland, while the Soviet Union was given a free hand to annex Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and parts of Romania.

The reason Ukraine stopped attacking refineries is because there's no point to bombing something you already set on fire.
No
Widlberries sells, or used to sell, all the military equipment which most nation's provide for their soldiers,
Nope. And even UN told these nazis that attacks on WB constitutes war crimes.
Moreover these mothefuckers explicitly stated their reasons for attacking WB - terrorism.
Their new commander explicitly said that russian nation has no right to exist, then he said the same specifically about russinans in Eastern Ukraine which is not Ukraine at all.
this is the guy who first came into prominence as a guy on BTR running over russians in Eastern Ukraine protesting against Maidan in 2014. In other words he is a nazi, war criminal and should have been hanged by/in any decent society.
Just like the Nord Stream, there's nothing Russia can do about it. I know you have to keep repeating Nazi over and over again, but nobody believes it, even you.

This is what happens when you start a war. The winner gets to decide who is a war criminal. Russians have executed civilians and prisoners and for some reason video recorded it. Not a smart move, but it's unlikely any of them are still alive. In any case, Ukraine is keeping a list of the officers responsible and any who survive will be hunted down and held responsible. And again, there's nothing Russia can do about it.

Presidential Advisor Laura Loomer called on the US to supply Ukraine with additional Patriot missiles after witnessing Russian missile attacks in Kyiv, arguing the systems would protect civilians while also serving American security interests.

also

Putin is looking to get 30,000 North Korean troops to plug the ranks in Russian forces. That's not even a month's supply of meat.

and

Russian officials are considering the implementation of nationwide martial law following parliamentary elections to the State Duma in September.

Yeah, Russia is hurting for meat to feed into the war machine. Looks like they might clampdown at the end of summer.
Someone had better step up their game and start producing or they'll be put to work elsewhere.

Quite remarkable to see a large group of Russians totally convinced that it is America that is attacking Russia in Ukraine; and that we seek to destroy Russia. BTW: Barbos isn't arguing this metaphorically, he believes this literally.

The Soviet paradigm was make everybody equal, equally miserable.

We Russians can't let Ukrainians be enjoying freedoms and having good times, we need to drag them down with us.

More remarkable than you being convinced that it was unprovoked out of the blue Russian aggression?

The Soviet paradigm was make everybody equal, equally miserable.

We Russians can't let Ukrainians be enjoying freedoms and having good times, we need to drag them down with us.
actually, most soviet people were less miserable than most americans now.

The Berlin Wall to keep people in.

High profile defections like Baryshnikov and Nureyev.

There has always been Russian immigration to the USA. A better life.

The Soviet Union collapsed in large part because it could not provide basic needs of the people. Communist ideology instead of practical economics. In Russian famine in he early 20th century western aid nay have saved the Russian revolution. Russian bureaucratic incompetence. Railroads that did not work.

Putin is in some ways a continuation of Stalinism, and like the Soviets, under Putin Russia is beginning to circle the drain.

Like I said you are welcome to your Russian Putin misery, just leave other people out of it. They do not want it. Former Soviet states made their choices when the Soviets collapsed.

:hysterical: :slowclap:

A question to ponder.
If US citizens could go to Russia with no strings nor questions asked and vice-versa for Russians, in which direction would the planes be most full?

I was talking about people in USSR. People were not living well compared to the west but that says nothing about how they felt. Life in USSR was quite stress-less compared to West had and has now.
very little stress from job or lack of it, no stress from health care costs, no stress from education costs.
Only tiny minority people were dissidents who had stress from living under Socialism.

Most people would stay in their countries in both countries most of the time.
and it is really stupid question. You constantly create shit for Russia and then come and say "See Russia is a bad country!"
When in reality it is you who is a bad country because you are actively shit everywhere, that's is how you keep appearance of less shit inside your own country.

It does not work anymore. You can't shit in Russia and you especially can't shit in China.

Between March and August of 2022, more than half a million men left Russia in a hurry. Since then, that many have left this world.

Living in a police e state where you have to watch what you say can be quite relaxing?

The video of East and West Germans tearing down the Berlin Wall with bare hands always stuck with me.

East and West Germans releasing built up frustrating and stress.

Civil War in Russia!
Kyiv Post said:
Residents of the Penza region settlement formed a 250-person civilian patrol to shield their men after recruiters allegedly beat and coerced locals into signing military contracts. The forced recruitment comes as Russia braces for expanded mobilization amid mounting battlefield losses, with Putin pledging military spending will remain the Kremlin’s top budget priority through 2029.
It's a spark for the underlying tension in Russia. Putin's bullshit polling numbers. The common knowledge within Russia that the average life expectancy of a newly arrived Russian recruit on the active front lines in Ukraine is estimated to be just 20 to 30 minutes once they enter active combat. Inflation. Lack of fuel. Curtailment of civil rights. Drone strikes in and near Moscow and St. Peterburg. Small businesses failing when all their inventory was destroyed in a Wildberries warehouse. I wonder how many products are "unavailable" on Wildberries now?
It's all coming to a head.
And I'll bet the rumors are flying thick and heavy about martial law in September.
United24 said:
Demand for housing among Russians in Yerevan has surged to levels local realtors compare with the 2022 emigration wave, driving rents in the Armenian capital up by around 30% in three months, Verstka reported on July 28.
The rush is being fueled by rumors of another wave of military mobilization in Russia. Realtors in Yerevan told the Russian outlet that demand was “huge” and prices had become “just crazy.”

You want to talk provocation?

Barbos thinks it is provocative when the US/Europe mentions to Ukrainians that Russia is dangerous and unpredictable and might at any moment decide to murder their children and steal their land. According to Barbos, the only logical recourse to such provoking statements like that is for Russia to murder Ukranian children and steal their land.

As always, truth is provocative to imbeciles.
