Merged Fauci Should Be In Prison - Senator Rand Paul

Didn't Nixon spy on his political opponents? Never mind, everything Trump did is without precedent.

Which brings us back to "he did nothing and he took the 5th to avoid being prosecuted for what he did", this time by the states instead of the fed. Unless you think he might be tried for crimes against humanity which cannot be pardoned.
Please stop with the chicken shit and, again, strap on a pair and tell us what crimes you think Fauci should be charged with.
There's no way to know, any investigation that could have been performed was preempted with a pardon. The Justice Department can do nothing.
An investigation should start with evidence of a crime. Not a fishing expedition. Do you have evidence of a crime or not?

I would think that you, as a Libertarian, would understand that better than many.

Me? I'm not a prosecutor, I'm not in the Justice Department. I am in the same position as you - an outsider looking in. We have just developed opposite opinions on the same person. I have as much evidence of his guilt as you have of his innocence. (And don't bother with the courtroom burden of proof argument - we are forming opinions, not adjudicating crimes.)

Okay, so in your opinion what crimes should Fauci be investigated for?

ETA- Sorry. Cross posted.

Very well.

Before the pardon, Fauci denied - under oath - of his participation in funding the gain of function research in the Wuhan lab. Then, after the pardon, the truth came out. If nothing else he committed perjury then.

Oh, and he did this while the US had a three-year ban on using federal funds for such experiments. I'm not a lawyer, but I do think "banned" might have something in common with "illegal".
Links, please.

And I agree. You are not a lawyer.

Ebright said this appeared to be false by hisinterpretation of the documents released by The Intercept.
Ebright said these sections of the documents show that NIH grants supported theconstruction of mutant SARS-related coronaviruses that involved blendingdifferent types together. The result was a lab-generated virus that could infecthuman cells, he said, adding that at least three of the lab-generated viruses"exhibited >10x to >100x higher viral loads in humanized mice."A humanized mouse is a mouse that has been bio-engineered to mimic certainbiological characteristics similar to humans, such as the immune system, so thatthey can be tested on in labs as a human surrogate. They are commonly used inresearch.Figure 35 of the year-four progress report, as referred to by Ebright, is shownbelow, as well as the associated caption.
So at this time, the research had been in progress for four years. The moratorium above only applies to new research.

Swing and a miss.

Nothing in your link proves anything about Fauci, let alone directing funding. And again we see Rand Paul sticking his greasy little hands into any investigation, making sure his bullshit gets added to it.

Huh? Are you retarded? Yes you can investigate someone, even if they are targeted by lawfare. You really are either ignorant or just another Trump apologist. I know going by your post where I'll bet, mate.

The government controls the weather too. You can see it every night this time of year when the radars light up. The shills will tell you it is migrating birds but don’t be fooled. It is frequencies. Oh, the Bill Gates engineered mosquitoes are spreading Dengue all over Florida. And vaccines are far deadlier than any disease ever was. You just need beef tallow and ivermectin. Fucking smooth brained cunts.

I don't know, I get frustrated by these arguments. I think that it's much ado about nothing. Just to summarize, yes Fauci told the Senate that the NIH did not directly fund gain-of-function research in Wuhan. If you read what he said exactly, his statements are accurate according to how the NIH defines gain of function research. However, if you read the comments from the senators seeking to shift emphasis away from fixing the economy and Iran, Senator Paul uses a broader definition of gain-of-function. And this is most brain cells that I'm going to waste on this topic.

I feel for you brother, but don't worry to much since brain cells do regenerate.

Newsom should be in prison. "Two weeks to flatten the curve". Authoritarian control freak who now admits he was wrong.

You are incorrect. It was the federal government under Trump that originally declared that it will take two weeks to flatten curve. Like most governors, (republican and democratic); he followed the guidance put out by the Trumpsters. Newsome did not invent. He did admit some mistakes. In the history of Trumps life, has he ever admitted any mistakes? A single one??

Sure, the Trump administration coined the term, but Newsom (and others) used it repeatedly throughout the “pandemic”. Newsom was first to issue the shelter in place edict and they weren’t mistakes. It was a man drunk on power being a tyrant. No kings, indeed.
Newsom and “Dr” Ferrer should be in jail.

Yes, he didn't directly do it. That doesn't mean he didn't do it at all.

Six year old news articles aren't easy to find, especially with his current testimony flooding the results, but he did say he didn't direct any funding while doing so, which is perjury. There is apparently dispute over whether it was banned or not, but even if it wasn't doing so with China can't be a good idea.

I personally think his extreme measures to fight a cold and advocating a lockdown of the country were criminal too, but that's more a "crime against humanity" instead of a "breaking a federal statute" criminality.
