Yes. And Rand Paul is the government and the facts about Covid and Fauci’s role are available to be discovered should you look for it. The YouTuber Professor Dave for example has a few good videos on this that go into excruciating detail with proper citations and scientific discussion of biology and epidemiology should you actually care about inquiring into facts. There are many other sources too but I think waiting for some showboating of a congressional hearing to get at actual facts is a waste of time.

And there effectively was a threat to prosecute him for perjury if he didn't say what they wanted to hear. That would be a current offense, not something that he was pardoned for. Thus what option did he have but to take the fifth?
