Climate Change(d)?

lol, this is the same garbage you posted back in September.

It is a catastrophic 69f today.

Let's you and I take it one step at a time.

Do you undershorts that greenhouse gases are essential to life? Without it the Earth would be cold and frozen.

Do you understand or do you disagree?

You may be hesitant to respond, fearing it may lead you where you do not want to go.

As they say in computerr science, you are GIGO, garbage in garbage out.

Sea level around Miami has risen about 3" since 2000. In some neighborhoods, salt water routinely comes up through the sewer mains.
I hope Trump gets to rename the Atlantic as Trump Ocean, because at some point his ocean will reclaim Mar-A-Lago, which can then be designated as Trump International Water Park. Nemo will be swimming around that dopey gold statue of him.

I wouldn't waste my time trying to convince someone who doesn't want to know the truth, plus I seriously doubt he has read many if any of the links we've provided. I don't put them here for him. I put them here for those of us who are interested in learning more about how the climate is changing and the impact of these changes and what if much can be done to slow it down at this point. It can be slowed down, but it will take huge amounts of money and regulations by governments. It's hard to be optimistic about that happening.

That’s a little harsh IMHO.
Some people just don’t want to be bothered by things they can’t control and are not expected to materially effect them, that is, beyond the annoying costs imposed upon them by people with a longer view.

I read enough to see that both links are about the same thing. lol, did you even read it yourself?!! lol.

I don't put them here for him.

lol. Of course you do. That's why you always refer to me in your posts.

Yes, I read the entire link and no I didn't put it there for you as you obviously have no interest in learning what's going on.

The last link went into a lot of detail about the things that are a threat to the environment and how they impact the climate. I thought it had some interesting new information in it that some of us who don't deny climate change might like to know.

Do you understand tat the temperatures at Santa Monica are based in naturally occurring greenhouse gases?

Nothing controversial about greenhouse gases and Earth 'temperature. Established science well before climate became an issue.

Same with Mars.
Current Greenhouse Effect

Mars’ atmosphere is over 95% carbon dioxide, a potent greenhouse gas, but the planet’s atmosphere is extremely thin—about 100 times less dense than Earth’s. This low density limits the ability of CO2 to trap heat, resulting in a weak greenhouse effect of roughly 5°C, compared to Earth’s 33°C warming from greenhouse gases. The thin atmosphere also contains very little water vapor, another key greenhouse contributor, which further reduces warming. Consequently, average surface temperatures on Mars are around -63°C, with extremes ranging from -60°C at the poles to 20°C near the equato

Any respose or factual refutation???? Cat got your tongue? At a loss for words?

Scientists know that recent climate change is largely caused by human activities from an understanding of basic physics, comparing observations with models, and fingerprinting the detailed patterns of climate change caused by different human and natural influences.

No they don’t know. That’s why climate catastrophe is a religion.

Besides, the earth’s climate has been remarkably stable and well within natural variability.

It’s a catastrophic 66f today. I may have to wear a sweater today.

How our input into climate change has been examined and understood has been explained.

lol. It really is a religion for you.

You have zero evidence that the climate has changed in any measurable way due to human activity. There has been an imperceptible increase in global average temperature (a meaningless metric) and everything else presented are dubious studies that “suggest” we are on the brink of climate apocalypse.
Imperceptible. About a degree since the 70s. That does sound small.

El Nino is the eastern Pacific rising in average temp starting at around 0.5 degree. A very strong El Nino is only 2+ degrees.

So an imperceptible change in water temperature of less than a single degree can impact the climate of Eastern Africa to the Atlantic.
1 degree is imperceptible?
Yes, it is hard to physically distinguish 1 degree change in the air or water. I then provided context as to why that wasn't relevant. Please pay better attention to the entire post you are responding to.
No, you're not understanding.

I'm disagreeing with the notion that one degree is imperceptible. Not too noticeable, about the threshold I'll notice if the AC has been off in an unoccupied part of the house (remember, this is scientific stuff--that's real degrees, not tyranny degrees.) But it is very perceptible in what it does at the edges, like with first and last frost.
