You're right - this popped up on my Facebook feed today, and I didn't stop to check.

Which is pretty silly, because my first response was that I thought I heard of his death some time ago, and that I must have been mistaken.

Still, a great man, and worth remembering.
 
Not necessarily an example of aborigines' drastically shortened lifespan,but that's the way to bet.
