The only real solution is to ban people from Kansas from entering other states until the government can figure out what the problem is.

Kansas has some bad hombres. They rape, they steal, they murder... some are ok... but we need to put some restrictions on those dudes before anyone else gets hurt.

Srinivas Kuchibhotla, 32, working at the Garmin headquarters in Olathe, was killed in the shooting on Wednesday night, while another Indian and his colleague Alok Madasani was critically injured. According to latest reports, Madasani has been discharged.

Boy, this most likely Trump supporter looks like hell at 51, worse than Trump himself at 70. Sucks to be indian in US.

Are you sure about that?

You know, Trump gets a lot of flak for this, but Mexico really does have some bad hombres. And the violence is spilling over into Central America pretty bad. I mean, the narcos have always been bad, but this new breed of Mexican cartels has taken brutality and bloodlust to new heights. And the Mexican government is essentially a failed state - they cannot deal with the narcos effectively, and the level of corruption is hard to believe. Of course, I bet a lot of Mexicans in Federal Government, the ones who aren't bought (and even many who are) do wish the US could help out. But the level of idiotic nationalism is as bad or worse in Latin America as it is in Mexico, so they cannot admit as much publicly, because it would ruin them politically. Probably moreso than actually being bought by the narcos.

Of course, a lot of this narco-violence is the result of US drug policy, and US Cold War policy, both of which ravaged Latin America. The CIA spread death, torture, and disorder throughout the latter half of the 20th century, mostly acting as thugs on behalf of Big Business -- "high class muscle men" -- who couldn't tolerate things like land reforms. Civil wars and brutal, repressive, right-wing dictatorships left entire generations orphaned, traumatized, and disappeared. This population has proved a fertile source of men (and women) willing to commit horrible acts of barbarity and mindless violence.

You need to follow this up with another post stating equivocally that it's not a ban.

Then bilby can go on a talk show and call it a ban, then state later that everyone should know that you're just using a hyperbolic phrase, and that it's not a ban.

Dude, try to get your information from a good source, someplace other than an HBO crime drama series.

Which of my claims are you denying?

Ironically, many of these supposedly horrible illegal immigrants invading the US are, in fact, young people trying to *flee* exactly this violence. Which makes it more than a bit sad that Obama had Mexico agree to do their best to block exactly these people - but for whatever reason (hint: racism), Trump promises to make things much worse.

TBF, the shooter thought they were Iranian.

Well, no harm done then.

It's sounds like the police owe this man an apology for not finding that out at the beginning before they went through all the trouble of arresting him.

I'm not... your text appears lifted right from the pilot episode of the HBO series "Narcos". (I think it was HBO....).

I believe that was Netflix. Good series, though, that isn't my source though. Just the accumulated knowledge one gains if one reads a little bit of 20th century history.

A really good documentary on the subject of cartels is Cartel Land which is also currently on Netflix, if you are interested. It follows the parallel stories of Tim Foley, the leader of Arizona Border Recon, and Dr José Mireles, a Michoacán-based physician who leads the Autodefensas, a group of vigilantes that rose up to in reaction to the surging cartel violence. It really gets to the core of how fucked the whole situation is.

FFS, name a country that doesn't have some.
What? Why is this relevant. Mexico has a really bad organized crime problem. The official death toll is 60,000 and the actual deaths could be as high as 120,000 with another 20,000 missing. This is extreme and only a few other countries are suffering through similar circumstances right now, and most of them are outright war zones. Are you saying you think that the cartel violence is *not* exceptional? What is the point you are trying to make?

Why is this relevant to a crazy Trumpster who killed an Indian-American (and wounded two other men) because he can't tell the difference between brown people and erroneously assumed the victim was from Iran

In other words, crazy Trumpster is the bad hombre is this thread.

Someone referenced the remark. I didn't bring it up. Perhaps it was a derail. My bad.

Trump and his supporters are allegedly basing their immigration policy on this "bad hombre" crapola. The Russian mob in the USA has "bad hombres", but no one is talking about limiting immigration from Russia. The Italian mob has "bad hombres", but no one is talking about limiting immigration from Italy. Hell, there has even been bad hombres in an Israeli crime syndicate in the US, but no one talks about limiting immigration from Israel. Yet, all we hear about is about "bad hombres" from Mexico and Central America (i.e. brown skinned people).

This deranged jackass killed two brownskilled people because he thought they did not "belong here".
