Pro-Lifer says, "Let them die if it costs me money"

We are at 25,000 to 30,000 confirmed new cases a day nationally with a soft shutdown. It'll be out of hand in about 4 weeks and we get to do this all over a again.

That's just hysteria.

No, that's an accurate assessment based on the evidence.

Remember when Trump killed Solemani and all you guys

"All you guys"?

Stop the fear mongering.

That's not fear mongering. THIS is fear mongering:

Remember when Trump killed Solemani and all you guys were saying, "THIS IS WORLD WAR 3!!!! THIS IS GONNA BE A DISASTER!!!" and now there's crickets about it. No war, no disaster.

You're credibility is worth jack shit when you can't provide quotes. If you want to remind people when they are wrong, it's best to cite accurately when that instance was.
Like here.

See how this works? Essentially put up or shut up.

Do apes read philosophy?

No I don't remember that, care to quote something? Probably not...spouting orange shit out of your mouth is probably more fun.

Yeah, it's just a Democratic hoax....

No, Hysteria was Def Lepard’s ridiculously successful album.

What I said was if during a soft shutdown news = X, if you lift the shutdown new cases will become >> X. There is absolutely no reason to think this will happen based on how the disease spread before the soft shutdown.

Regarding the Solemani killing...

Yeah, it's just a Democratic hoax....

You realize that's been debunked, right? He never said the virus is a hoax. He said "The Democrats thinking this will bring me down is the hoax." Just like when Dems thought the Mueller report could bring him down. It didn't. The they thought impeachment would bring him down. It didn't. Now they think corona will bring him down. It won't.

Nevermind the fact that Governor Whitmer of Michigan is going so far with her fascist lockdown that she's facing protestors. Another Democrat bungling the job. Tucker Carlson was just skewering her on Fox News. He said, "She's upset about the protestors...who are protesting peacefully by the way which is their right under the Constitution...but she's too thin skinned to handle it. She kept the weed shops open! Fire up a bowl and deal with it!"

He said "The Democrats thinking this will bring me down is the hoax."
I do not believe this is an accurate quote. Which makes it spin....

What's False

Despite creating some confusion with his remarks, Trump did not call the coronavirus itself a hoax.

Innote that your link does not support the quote you podted.
So, still spin. You still have no fucking idea how quotes work.

No, he called the accusation he wasn’t doing anything a hoax, which was accurate.

He enacted a travel ban on Feb 2. Pelosi was encouraging people to go to Chinatown on Feb 27 and Fauci was telling us to go party on cruise ships on March 9.

Trump didn't do enough, indeed.

So what you're saying is people shouldn't spin Trump's comments and misquote him in such a way to fill their own bullshit narratives which can't hold water on their own merits.

Huh.

Huh.

The ones who spin his comments are the Democrats who take quotes such as, "This is their new hoax" to mean, "He doesn't think the virus is real!!!!!!" When Trump called impeachment a hoax, he didn't mean the impeachment was fake. He meant the Democrats thinking this will bring him down is the hoax!

Why do you think Trump will win in a landslide in November? Because people see how hysterical the media gets over Trump and always take him out of context to ridicule him. People like an underdog who's constantly bullied and ridiculed.

sure, sure.
You still cannot quote.
You can't quote The Left to save your soul, you can't quote Trump to save your ass, you can't quote Jesus to save your bigotry, you should probably pry the " key off your keyboard. Tape over it, something.

Maybe I was being too subtle...

I'm sure Mr. Gowdy has the best of intentions with his advice. He may not really understand what the economy would actually look like in a couple of months if it were to open up now. Either that, or the stench of rotting bodies piling up at hospital doors is the "American Way of Life" he wishes to protect.

People like an underdog who's constantly bullied and ridiculed.

Didn't you mean to say, '40% of Americans seem entranced by a sadistic bully who uses the coarsest and most personal insults, a petty, small-minded, immature individual who is the laughing stock of the world'? Otherwise, your statement would seem to lack surface reality.

What are you talking about? There are plenty of examples where the underdog is a self centered billionaire slumlord who has entire media outlets singing praises that makes North Korea envious and a political party that shreds their "traditional values" and integrity to provide unconditional support. Happens all the time. Why, what's your definition of underdog?

I find it remarkable that many right-wingers are complacent about the COVID-19 virus. One would expect them to be especially fearful of it, but they are not.

Why might they be fearful of it? Right-wingers tend to be very fearful, and neurological studies confirm that.
Jonathan Haidt's Five Moral Foundations: Care/Harm, Fairness/Cheating, Loyalty/Betrayal, Authority/Subversion, Sanctity/Degradation

He finds that liberals tend to emphasize the first two more than the other three, and that conservatives are about equal in all five.

From the third item and JH's research, many right-wingers' complacency about COVID-19 is thus very anomalous.

well, no matter how weaselly Trump actually phrased it, many of them certainly THOUGHT he said that C-19 is a hoax.
Thus they're able to slot any Democrat action into a big conspiracy yarn, where not masking, not 'socialist distancing,' not staying at home is more heroic.

Well, if Tucker Carlson said it...

Actually they were blocking the ambulance entrance to the hospital and a couple cases of impeding ambulances in the streets. There were reports of protestors deliberately coughing onto hospital personnel as they walked into the buildings. That's an arrestable offense.
