"Protester" Misconduct Catch All Thread

Police shoot another unarmed black kid and people get upset. Huh.
Be upset all you want, but that is no justification to steal and destroy. Or burn the whole city down, as you advocated before you edited your post.
Those who are destroying the city right now need to be prosecuted. Just like all the people involved in last year's riots needed to be brought to justice. Unfortunately, very few were. Which is why we are getting violence again.

Maybe if people don't like riots, police should quit killing people over air freshners.

Even if the police officer made a mistake in this case, that is no justification for wanton violence.

And saying that Daunte was killed over an "air freshner[sic]" is as silly as saying that Trayvon was killed over Skittles.

More looting that Toni finds justified. What about hard-working business owners whose property is getting stolen and destroyed by racial extremists?

Then why aren't the cops doing their fucking job? Basically what I am seeing is law enforcement being too incompetent at maintaining law and order unless they are allowed to kill the occasional citizen. That attitude is fucking bullshit and cops who feel that way need to learn a completely different profession. One with less responsibility and a fuckton more accountability.

Almost all the particulars about these two cases are very different.

Nobody in the video I posted died.
I did not post the video where the officer was murdered - I merely linked to the article.
And I posted these things to illustrate how dangerous routine traffic stops can be. And why an officer might legitimately fear for his life when a suspect suddenly goes into the car.
Note, we do not enough to say whether the shooting is justified or not. What remains true is that under no circumstances is rioting and looting justified, and Hennepin County DA needs to prosecute all rioters and looters that can be identified. He almost certainly will not do that because of politics.

And YEAH I said KID-
Age of majority in the US is 18. That there is age discrimination against young adults in some areas due to Helen Lovejoyesque activism does not change that.

He was a kid.
No, he wasn't. He became an adult on 10/27/2018.

And unless that warrant was for something really serious, he was murdered for no good reason.

It is WAY too early to say whether the shooting was justified or not and if not, what level of culpability the police officer might have.

What we do know is that under no circumstances is it justified to destroy government property (e.g. police SUVs) or loot stores.

I noticed you wrote, and then edited, that you would advocate burning the whole city down. I guess you showed, for a brief moment, the true colors of you fauxgressives.

I'm sick to death of the death porn and the endless justifications of posting the death porn and the violence and hearing how there is no justification for destroying the property of people who kill you over a hanging air freshner.

I'm sick to death of people pretending that 18 is adult because we've decided that's a suitable age to make people die so that rich people can keep on being rich and can hide their kids from such plebian risks as dying in wars or 'wars.' Or because it puts 16 and 17 and 15 year olds in the fuckable range.

Who did GameStop kill?

OK to kill; even if it's a mistake. It's not as bad as destroying property.
AGAIN.
So sick.

On the bright side of things at least blacks & whites can come together for looting.

Who did GameStop kill?

You seem to be a bit behind the times. Black people have not been legally property for more than 150 years. So quit equating destroying the lives of black people with the destruction of property.

You're not making any sense. Who did these business kill?

You are not making any sense. Just because black people are not property does not mean they have the right to destroy and/or steal the property of others over every real or imagined grievance.

We do not know whether the shooting is justified or not.
But even if it isn't, that does not justify destroying and stealing other people's property.
People have the right to peacefully protest. They do not have the right to riot, loot etc.

On the night of December 16, 1773.... Never mind.

Are the people who make excuses for property destruction the same who lament that certain neighborhoods are economically depressed with few opportunities? Nah.

Why are you babbling about rights about destruction of property?

I'm sick to death of the death porn and the endless justifications of posting the death porn and the violence
What death porn?

and hearing how there is no justification for destroying the property of people who kill you over a hanging air freshner.
1. No, there is no justification for violence.
2. The rioters/looters destroyed/stole property of people completely unrelated to this incident. As Trausti said, Gamestop or that liquor store didn't kill anybody.
3. It is a lie - that you keep repeating - that Daunte was killed over "a hanging air freshner[sic]". It may or may not (the only source is Mother Daunte) be why he was initially pulled over, but he was asked to step out of the car because of a warrant (possibly for "aggravated robbery") and then decided to try to get into the car - an action that often leads to a suspect arming themselves and shooting at police.

I'm sick to death of people pretending that 18 is adult
Nobody is pretending. 18 is the age of adulthood.

because we've decided that's a suitable age to make people die so that rich people can keep on being rich and can hide their kids from such plebian risks as dying in wars or 'wars.'
What are you babbling about?

Or because it puts 16 and 17 and 15 year olds in the fuckable range.
Oh, so your insistence on raising the age of adulthood to 21 (or 25?) is because of your hang-ups with sex.
Btw, 16 is the age of consent in Minnesota. And Daunte must have had unprotected sex at that age because he has a 2 year old.

You seem to be a bit behind the times. Black people have not been legally property for more than 150 years. So quit equating destroying the lives of black people with the destruction of property.

You are not making any sense. Just because black people are not property does not mean they have the right to destroy and/or steal the property of others over every real or imagined grievance.

Just because some people destroy or steal the property of others, it doesn’t give police the right to kill black people over real or imagined grievances.

You despise Black Lives Matter. Because to you, Black lives do not matter as much as a storefront or property or even the minor inconvenience of protesters in streets.

You and your ilk are the reason people have to match around with signs and t-shirts proclaiming that Black Lives Matter. Because to you and to your ilk, they don’t.

So CNN and other media are only using the photo of Daunte holding his kid, as if having unprotected sex is some kind of accomplishment that renders somebody a better person.

They aren't using these photos. I wonder why ...

You realize you rebutted your first sentence with the second.
