85 Americans have left Afghanistan since U.S. completed its withdrawal

At least 85 U.S. citizens and 79 permanent residents have left Afghanistan since the U.S. completed its troop withdrawal Aug. 31, State Department data says.

WASHINGTON — A commercial flight carrying 21 Americans and 48 lawful permanent U.S. residents departed Kabul, Afghanistan, over the weekend, the State Department confirmed Monday.

In total, at least 85 American citizens and 79 lawful permanent residents have left Afghanistan since the U.S. ended a massive humanitarian evacuation and completed the withdrawal of its troops in August, according to State Department figures.

“We are thankful to Qatari authorities, who continue to coordinate these flights with the Taliban,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said Monday. The Biden administration is still working to help American citizens, lawful permanent residents and vulnerable Afghans leave, Price added.

So US citizens are still leaving unimpeded. What makes you think "There are still people there who want to leave and they can't."?

Did you know in some states if you get into a car accident with an illegal immigrant who has no license and no insurance, they usually get no punishment? Americans must have license and insurance, but immigrants don't need it. Same with COVID. Americans need the COVID vaccine! But, immigrants who cross the border and get flown to random towns by Biden don't need the vaccine. Weird, right? Did you hear when Jen Psaki said that immigrants don't need the vaccine because they aren't staying very long? This makes no sense.. By this same logic, why do we need a vaccine in order to eat inside? Nobody is staying long at that restaurant. Tucker Carlson pointed out this blatant hypocrisy. It's really getting out of control.

He didn't have a license or insurance and didn't speak English so the cop told him to go. Cop made me wait and file a report and talk to my insurance company. Cop didn't even write down the immigrants license plate.

Your "citations" really remind me of Half-Life's.
One cop made one decision in one anecdote. This does not actually justify or support your claim about what 'usually' happens (ie, more than once) in unnamed states (ie more than one).
A better conclusion might be that cops only enforce the law when they feel like it, if it won't be difficult or burdensome.
Oh, and how do you know he was an illegal immigrant, if he didn't speak English? Plenty of Americans cannot afford insurance, and/or drive without a license. It's not commendable, but certainly not restricted to illegal immigrants.

So, people wanted to stay, did stay despite 12 months of warnings and..this is Biden spitting in them? What? Anyway, the Taliban were already in control of large areas of the country, were already embedded in the cities waiting for the US to pull out when Trump said he would, and more importantly they have been planning for this eventuality for the last two decades. The Taliban NEVER stopped. They were just patient. They would have taken over just as quickly had Trump been in charge, because nothing changed between administrations except the date of the withdrawal.

As for "let them have the country," when did it become ours to have instead? Apparently you think Afghanistan is some sort of US colony, and that the US - not the Afghan people - should be the ones calling the shots. If the Afghan people want someone other than the Taliban running things, then it is up to them to do something about it. We spent over 20 years, trillions of dollars, and sacrificed thousands of lives in order to force Afghanistan to heel.

There is a middle ground between saying that Afghanistan is our country and saying that they should just deal with the Taliban. Helping them oust a terrorist government but leaving a democracy in place would be an option.I'm sure North Korea loved it if we invaded there and got rid of Kim Jong and gave them a democracy. Then we leave. I'm not saying we wold stay in North Korea for 20 years. But there is a difference between imperialism and merely helping a country.

This is why a lot of liberal ideaology is all over the place with no consistency. On one hand you guys say that our borders should be open to everyone because you love people, but then on the other hand you say that you don't care about helping people in another country because it's their problem and their country. All banking will be done through the FED. They would have the power to set everything. This woud be government control over everything. Keep in mind the less power in the FED is what we need if we want more freedom. If we want less freedom, then by all means, let the FED control everything. FED controlling all the money means you have to ask permission from the government if you want a business loan. No banks to compete anymore. The people would be crushed.
