All evidence to the contrary.But really, Ukraine has no choice. They either fight Russia's illegal, immoral, reprehensible, and completely unjustified invasion now or face the alternative of surrendering and being butchered by Russia's immoral, and reprehensible police state with Russia in charge. And then the children of Ukraine will be sent off in a future war to fight FOR the evil Russian empire as cannon fodder like all the other minorities in Russia. This is not a viable alternative.
If Russia was even slightly trustworthy, Ukraine might be willing to sacrifice some of their land if it meant peace, but Russia has broken too many agreements and is currently run completely by an egomaniacal liar who waves threats of nuclear genocide like a national flag on independence day. There is a price for being a two-faced pile of shit and part of that is that nobody trusts you, especially people you so recently betrayed.
Really, there is nothing stupid about facing evil head on rather than let it use, abuse, and denigrate you on its terms.

That's the stupid I am talking about. Even Elesnky own adviser (former) says that Ukraine had a great choice.

What is the choice!?? According to Mad Medvedev, Russia will completely annihilate Ukraine if they surrender. The Ukrainian's are backed into a corner and have no choice but to fight. Zelensky knows this.

Perhaps you missed the below? Below is the possible "peace solution" proposed by Mad Medvedev:

The plan requires the following: 1) complete and unconditional surrender; 2) demilitarization; 3) dismiss all constitutional authorities; 4) "forced denazification programs encompassing all authorities; 5) Ukraine must pay compensation to Russia, including reimbursing relatives of Russian soldiers 6) officially recognize that the entire territory of Ukraine belongs to the Russian Federation".
I'd like to know if anyone honestly thinks that this is reasonable or that a sane person would give in to this?
