Would the Democratic Party in the USA allow someone to run for office in their party who holds generally conservative moral values but are on the liberal end on economic issues like found in western Europe?

Many years ago i read a study that said this would be the most ideal candidate to run for office but neither the Republicans or Democrats would allow it.

what is your opinion?

Depends. For the Senate the answer is probably yes since there are more Red states than Blue states but every state gets 2 regardless of population. Just how conservative is this guy would likely be a factor. For the House, probably if they think it increases their chances of getting control of the House, but again it's a matter of just how conservative is he.

For the president if it's an open seat, or the Republicans are incumbent then it depends. Is he moderate enough to get through a primary? If so then it's possible.

From the outside looking in, I would argue the Presidents that are remembered the most fondly were considered radicals of their time. I doubt many MAGAtards are aware Lincoln received fan mail from Karl Marx, for example.

Americans are obsessed with "the economy" as they experience it in the wallets, bank accounts, and investments, but as a rule have little patience for discussions of economic theory, or tolerance for wild swings. Any candidate from either party who strayed too far ftom the neoliberal capitalist American norm seen by nearly all in power as the quasi-mystical providence of our wealth and global influence would be eschewed in short order. Rejected by voters, and spurned by the society of the ruling caste. When we talk about "liberal" and "conservative" here, social values are at issue, with arguments over funding largely symbolic and secondary.

No. Conservative moral values currently hold that Democrats are “the enemy within”.
Why would Dems welcome someone into their party who fears, loathes, and wishes them harm?

I doubt MAGAtards know who either Lincoln or Marx were.

A Lincoln is a car, and the Marx brothers were comedians.

That isn't a common Venn Diagram in the states. Typically you'll see conservative economic folks who are liberal on social issues. We have a number of them here, they look like flaming liberals today though just based on how wonky the country is getting.

With the election over, and the depression still setting in, can we stop with the MAGAtards shit? At best it is petty. It is annoying to look at as name calling doesn't actually help things. Clever metaphor, maybe lift the mood, but crass name calling, let's drop it.

You do have a point, though. “MAGAtards” is somewhat uneconomical, involving typing nine letters and changing case. That’s why I use “MAGGOTS,” a mere seven letters with no annoying case change. OTOH, it is deeply insulting to real biological maggots.

The first step in changing someone's mind is meeting them where they're at.

So, no. MAGAtards and Q-tards are the way to go. Fuck 'em. You can Michelle Obama as much as you like, but to these cunts; she's just another worthless tranny nigger not worth listening to.

You've gotta meet people where they're at.

That's OK, you can refer to them as "baby flies". ;)
