Holy Crap - The Revolution is about to start

On Saturday, FEMA workers had to halt their work in Rutherford County due to reports that National Guard troops saw “armed militia” threatening the workers, according to the Washington Post, which cited an email to federal agencies helping with the response, verified by unnamed federal officials. It’s not clear if the threat was credible. FEMA Pauses efforts due to threats
I can only imagine what is going to happen if Trump loses.

Speaking of FEMA (from yesterday on Snopes)...

FEMA Official Told Workers to Skip Homes With Pro-Trump Signs After Hurricane Milton
You seem to have tried to paint this as FEMA guidance, when it was an individual employee that did this and they were fired.
How do you figure?
The context of how you provided the info, both in introduction and the quotes. As "speaking of FEMA" would actually be them firing the person as that was the only act of FEMA involved in the situation. Instead, you provided the information as if FEMA was involved with the actual guidance.
All I did was provide the link and title verbatim from Snopes. There is no opinion from me in what I posted.
So gaslighting then.
You sure know how to read stuff that isn't there. Are you using those special Mormon "seer stones" to read my posts? :p

I thought the story was interesting, and figured the appropriate thread was this one, as it has to with FEMA and hurridane disaster victims. Certainly its not the exact same situation as the OP as the "bad guys" are reversed, but it is sort of a "variation on a theme". Which is why I said "Speaking of FEMA..." And I read the full article. Do you honestly I would be so dumb as to try and project a specific narrative with my choice of words, when the details of the situation are clearly spelled out in the article?

I could be wrong and you are just very bad as disseminating information.

It is quite possible you didn't even bother to read the whole thing.

I don't know how you conclude it was a safety issue from that. Regardless, to paint with a broad brush and conclude Trump supporters are not to be helped because...they're dangerous and crazy?!...is pretty reckless, don't you think? How is that any different than saying avoid homes with Muslim residents, because "those people" like to kill others?
I agree it was probably stupid. But it's not like it wasn't a valid concern.

I just heard this morning of a woman canvassing for Harris and wearing Harris promotional attire. She knocked on a door and was immediately pepper sprayed and violently pushed of the steps and onto the ground.

There was a postal worker that was assaulted because she delivered a Harris flyer to a Trump supporter's mailbox.

A trump supporter harassed elderly Harris fans and threatened them with a machete.

A Trump supporter shot up a DNC office in Phoenix.

An armed Trump supporter threatened FEMA workers.

Ballot boxes in blue districts have been set on fire.

“Being aware of the potential for violence and damage to the institutions we rely upon is important,” retired Gen. Joseph Votel, an executive board member of the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law at the University of Pennsylvania, said in a statement.

Perhaps Trump should consider designating his supporters as a protected class.

The FEMA worker who put this out was fired by FEMA, so I'm guessing this wasn't board approved instruction.
FEMA hardly knows the guy. Never met the guy. FEMA knows a lot of guys.
Out of curiosity,
About the same time a police chief publicly asked for the addresses of people with Harris signs in their yards, so he could cut off police protection.
Did he get fired?
Tom

That was a sheriff in Portage County Ohio, and he didn't threaten to cut off police protection, he just wanted to house immigrants in Harris supporters' homes. Sheriffs are typically elected and so can't be fired.

There was a sheriff's lieutenant in Springfield Ohio who said he would not help supporters of the Democratic Party "survive the end of days". He received a written reprimand.

And what happened to him is he got re-elected to continue being sheriff on Nov 5.
