I'm so old that I remember attending parties at Arab embassies where the liquor flowed like water....
Islamism in those cases; But the Muslims don't have a monopoly on theocratic ambitions, and don't have anywhere close to the numbers to make it happen in the US. But the Christians do.What happened to Afghanistan? And also Tehran?So long ago Emily doesn’t remember.
Islamism! And it is the Left that is enamored of Islam for some weird reason.
Even the left in Iran worked with the ayatollahs to overthrow the Shah, and then predictably the religion of face eating leopards ate their faces as well.

As soon as Trump announced himself as “the threat from within” (albeit by accusing his opposition as usual) I knew he knew he was aware of his guilt as the threat from within.It's not the foreigners you should fear; It's your own countrymen. Just as it was for the Afghans and the Persians.
Daaaaamn! Check out those ankles!What happened to Afghanistan? And also Tehran?So long ago Emily doesn’t remember.

No, it hasn't yet quite gotten underway.And why is this thread even continuing? The so-called "Revolution" cited in the OP fizzled like a wet firecracker.
The guy in the OP turned out to be some rando kook, didn't he? How does that one event portend to lead to a revolution?No, it hasn't yet quite gotten underway.And why is this thread even continuing? The so-called "Revolution" cited in the OP fizzled like a wet firecracker.
The FEMA thing was just a tiny precursor to the real disaster.

Not that we really needed another,
but in this case it was causing damage to people who'd just been run over by a hurricane.

The 44-year-old was charged with "going armed to the terror of the public" on Saturday afternoon after he called for people to "overtake" the FEMA site in the town of Lake Lure amid ongoing misinformation about the federal response to hurricanes that recently struck the southeast.
When Parsons got to the FEMA site at Lake Lure, he ended up volunteering. However, the police had already been made aware of his threat and arrested him after he was found armed with a handgun and a rifle, Rutherford County Sheriff's Office said.
He said: "I viewed it as if our people are sitting here on American soil, and they're refusing to aid our people. So we were going to go up there and forcefully remove that fence."
But, after he "went up and saw that there was absolutely nothing there," he "stayed and volunteered all day."
Only two: US Civil War and WW2. The nazi party arose as a result of WW1.It’s scary right now. I try to keep in mind;

Actually three wars including the domestic war against slavery. They’re 0-3.
Now assimilated into MAGA, along with the secessionists. I count all three of their humiliations.Only two: US Civil War and WW2. The nazi party arose as a result of WW1.It’s scary right now. I try to keep in mind;

I can only imagine what is going to happen if Trump loses.On Saturday, FEMA workers had to halt their work in Rutherford County due to reports that National Guard troops saw “armed militia” threatening the workers, according to the Washington Post, which cited an email to federal agencies helping with the response, verified by unnamed federal officials. It’s not clear if the threat was credible. FEMA Pauses efforts due to threats
On Nov. 8, 2024, an investigation from conservative news outlet The Daily Wire claimed that an official of the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) had instructed hurricane-response workers to avoid homes with signs supporting then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in their front yards.
The Daily Wire reported FEMA skipped at least 20 homes in Lake Placid, Florida, after Hurricane Milton struck, due to the guidance. The story stated:
A FEMA supervisor told workers in a message to "avoid homes advertising Trump" as they canvassed Lake Placid, Florida to identify residents who could qualify for federal aid, internal messages viewed by The Daily Wire reveal. The supervisor, Marn'i Washington, relayed this message both verbally and in a group chat used by the relief team, multiple government employees told The Daily Wire.
The government employees told The Daily Wire that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags were skipped from the end of October and into November due to the guidance, meaning they were not given the opportunity to qualify for FEMA assistance. Images shared with The Daily Wire show that houses were skipped over by the workers, who wrote in the government system messages such as: "Trump sign no entry per leadership."
Per The Daily Wire report, the supervisor issued the guidance verbally and then over a group chat in late October 2024. The Trump-related instructions were reportedly deleted soon after, and by Oct. 30, 2024, the employee walked back the instructions about skipping homes that appeared to support Trump.
Was there a reason given or are we just to infer that it was Trump hate? Frankly sounds like poor journalism. They've got the who, what, when, and where. But they did not include the WHY.I can only imagine what is going to happen if Trump loses.On Saturday, FEMA workers had to halt their work in Rutherford County due to reports that National Guard troops saw “armed militia” threatening the workers, according to the Washington Post, which cited an email to federal agencies helping with the response, verified by unnamed federal officials. It is bleeding obvious from that photo it was a very thoughtless safety concern.I don't know how you conclude it was a safety issue from that. Regardless, to paint with a broad brush and conclude Trump supporters are not to be helped because...they're dangerous and crazy?!...is pretty reckless, don't you think? How is that any different than saying avoid homes with Muslim residents, because "those people" like to kill others?
The FEMA worker who put this out was fired by FEMA, so I'm guessing this wasn't board approved instruction.Was there a reason given or are we just to infer that it was Trump hate? I could definitely see saftey as a concern considering all the right wing lies and threats about FEMA that were going around.
ETA: After reading the article they did include this photo:
So it was a safety concern. Too bad the writer of the article never explored that aspect.
You seem to have tried to paint this as FEMA guidance, when it was an individual employee that did this and they were fired.I can only imagine what is going to happen if Trump loses.On Saturday, FEMA workers had to halt their work in Rutherford County due to reports that National Guard troops saw “armed militia” threatening the workers, according to the Washington Post, which cited an email to federal agencies helping with the response, verified by unnamed federal officials. How do you figure? All I did was provide the link and title verbatim from Snopes. The context of how you provided the info, both in introduction and the quotes. As "speaking of FEMA" would actually be them firing the person as that was the only act of FEMA involved in the situation. Instead, you provided the information as if FEMA was involved with the actual guidance.How do you figure?You seem to have tried to paint this as FEMA guidance, when it was an individual employee that did this and they were fired.I can only imagine what is going to happen if Trump loses.On Saturday, FEMA workers had to halt their work in Rutherford County due to reports that National Guard troops saw “armed militia” threatening the workers, according to the Washington Post, which cited an email to federal agencies helping with the response, verified by unnamed federal officials.
