Holy Crap - The Revolution is about to start

So long ago Emily doesn’t remember.
What happened to Afghanistan? And also Tehran?

Islamism! And it is the Left that is enamored of Islam for some weird reason.
Even the left in Iran worked with the ayatollahs to overthrow the Shah, and then predictably the religion of face eating leopards ate their faces as well.
Islamism in those cases; But the Muslims don't have a monopoly on theocratic ambitions, and don't have anywhere close to the numbers to make it happen in the US. But the Christians do.

Theocracy is the real answer; And theocracy looks just as ugly when it's Christian as when it's Muslim.

Don't kid yourself that the loonies from the Bible Belt wouldn't do the exact same things the loonies from the madrassas did, given half a chance.

It's not the foreigners you should fear; It's your own countrymen. Just as it was for the Afghans and the Persians.

As soon as Trump announced himself as “the threat from within” (albeit by accusing his opposition as usual) I knew he knew he was aware of his guilt as the threat from within.

Daaaaamn! Check out those ankles!

And why is this thread even continuing? The so-called "Revolution" cited in the OP fizzled like a wet firecracker.

No, it hasn't yet quite gotten underway.
The FEMA thing was just a tiny precursor to the real disaster.

The guy in the OP turned out to be some rando kook, didn't he? How does that one event portend to lead to a revolution?

By demonstrating how easily the Deplorables are lead into self destructive violence and causing a bunch of damage to others.

Not that we really needed another,
but in this case it was causing damage to people who'd just been run over by a hurricane.

This is the guy and his story

The 44-year-old was charged with "going armed to the terror of the public" on Saturday afternoon after he called for people to "overtake" the FEMA site in the town of Lake Lure amid ongoing misinformation about the federal response to hurricanes that recently struck the southeast.

When Parsons got to the FEMA site at Lake Lure, he ended up volunteering. However, the police had already been made aware of his threat and arrested him after he was found armed with a handgun and a rifle, Rutherford County Sheriff's Office said.
He said: "I viewed it as if our people are sitting here on American soil, and they're refusing to aid our people. So we were going to go up there and forcefully remove that fence."

But, after he "went up and saw that there was absolutely nothing there," he "stayed and volunteered all day."

He called for people to overtake the FEMA site, but no else showed up. His call to overtake FEMA was ignored or not even heard by the deplorables. So, it seems kind of a stretch to say the deplorables were easily led into self destructive violence and causing damage. It was kind of the opposite, wasn't it? It was one overzealous, probably crazy guy and he ended up volunteering to help out.
