President-elect Donald Trump on Monday confirmed he would declare a national emergency to carry out his campaign promise of mass deportations of migrants living in the U.S. without legal permission.

Overnight, Trump responded to a social media post from Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton, who said earlier this month there are reports the incoming administration is preparing such a declaration and to use "military assets" to deport the migrants.

“TRUE!!!” Trump wrote.

Remember, he also declared that the deportations are going to be a bloodbath.

Not one single journalist or podcaster asked him how he is going to respect the constitution and, in particular, the 4th amendment, when carrying out the deportation plan. More proof that Trump and his followers couldn't give two shits about the constitution.

I suppose it is polite of him to give the migrants a two plus month head start.

Trump: So why haven't we arrested all the illegals? We knew where they are.
Minion: Knew where they were.
Trump: Are.
Minion: Were! They all moved.
Trump: What about the Dreamers?
Minion: They moved too.

"First they came for the migrants, and I did not speak out, because I was not a migrant..."
Exactly!
I'm not an immigrant myself. My mom's parents were born in Indiana.

But I might as well be. I was born in this great "Nation of Immigrants." I cherish the culture that made America Great in the First Place!

I welcome the chinks and the wetbacks and the micks and the "africans" and the wops and everyone else! I believe in the Statue of Liberty.

what part of “national emergency” do you not understand?!?1!11!?

Millions of people entered the USA illegally on Brandon's watch as a direct result of his policies.

47thPOTUS said:
"On Day 1, I will launch the largest deportation program in American history to get the criminals out," he said during a rally at Madison Square Garden in the closing days of the presidential race. "I will rescue every city and town that has been invaded and conquered, and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail, then kick them the hell out of our country as fast as possible."

Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

This will raise prices at Walmart and then it will be the Dems fault.
Economists have been trying to warn the idiot of the consequences of this action, especially when it comes to food prices. People really are stupid or let me be more polite and say, ignorant when it comes to how basic economics work and that only immigrants are willing and able to do a lot of jobs that the rest of us can’t or won’t do. Construction is another one th at is primarily done by immigrants.

Millions of people entered the USA on Bush II watch. He arguably caused the trickle of central American immigrants to become a flood.

Those people could easily follow the US laws if the US citizens were willing to follow them. If we Americans gave as many work documents as we are willing to give jobs the problem would be gone by Christmas.

Republican politicians caused the huge increase in illegal immigrants because it's profitable. Democrats try to take care of them because they have better morals.

So … the Frogs too??? 😲
I forgot to include them.
The list is so long.

Lemme narrow it down a bit.

Everyone.

You can read the entire article if you want, as I'm sharing as one of my monthly shared articles. I used to be a member of the ACLU. I think I will join again during this critical time in our country.

Civil-liberties lawyers alarmed by President-elect Donald Trump’s plan to launch mass deportations of undocumented immigrants sued the federal government Monday for information about how authorities might quickly remove people from the United States.

The federal lawsuit alleges that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has failed to respond to requests for basic information about its existing contracts with private airline companies that make up “ICE Air,” as well as ground transportation services, airfields and policies governing deportation flights, including those carrying children.

Lawyers said the information is urgent because of Trump’s election victory this month and his upcoming inauguration on Jan. 20. Advocates for immigrants have accused ICE and its contractors of treating migrants harshly and holding them in inhumane conditions.

During his campaign, Trump promised to increase deportations starting on “day one” of his administration, though he has provided few details about how he would execute that plan. The comments sent advocates for immigrants scrambling for details about the existing state of the deportation system so that they could protect immigrants and inform U.S. taxpayers about its cost.

“We’ve been preparing for a mass detention and deportation agenda for the last nine months,” said Kyle Virgien, a senior staff attorney at the ACLU. “Now that Trump is the president-elect, it’s become apparent that this is a fight that we’re going to need to have.”

Let's just hope in the rush and zeal to deport all the illegal or criminal immigrants, legal law-abiding immigrants are not swept up and sent out.

"First they came for the migrants, and I did not speak out, because I was not a migrant..."
Illegal migrants. There is a difference between legal and illegal migration.

I think Trump's approach, if he actually does this, is too heavy-handed. But surveys show that immigration was one of the top issues for the voters, and Dems failed to connect to the voters on this. It certainly did not help that so many Dem-run jurisdictions have become "sanctuary cities" and even "sanctuary states" for illegals. Neither does it help that people like AOC, who e.g. thinks that ICE should be disbanded, has become a prominent face of the party. And it certainly does not help that during the primary debates in 2019 the Dem candidates were one-uping each other over who will be more permissive toward illegal immigration.

Not to Trump and most of MAGA. Have you already forgotten about his promise to deport the Haitians in Springfield who are here legally?

I've worried about that, and I see that Auxulus just posted what I was going to say. He's been saying he will deport the Haitians who are here legally, which is basically a death sentence, when you consider that Haiti is a failed state run by ruthless gangs.
