I'm glad, because that would be absurd. H1B recipients do not receive any special training on immigration enforcement. You may know a lot about the subjective experience of being a wealthy immigrant, but that doesn't make you any better informed about the role and requirements of a government employee.

I've been through it from the other side (sponsor for my wife)--and the agency we dealt with then is nothing like what's going on now. We were treated with considerable suspicion but given a chance to show our side of it and they grudgingly gave her a green card. That's not the reception I would expect now.
