Well... it's Trump... again. #47, here we go.

Summary: "fucking boring video"
I found this vid that refutes those who say it's an exageration to call Rump a 'fuckin natzi'.
It lists, point by point, how Rump IS a would be tyrant, destroying democracy.
I am incapabible of summerizing it. and there is no text to cut n paste.
To those who might disagree with this vid, but refuse to argue with a vloger who isn't here. I wouldn't either. So don't watch this vid.
I post it for those who would agree, and could use some coaching for future debates.

Honestly, I'm worried about Trump, and not in the usual "Orange Man Bad" sort of way.
It's fucking adorable that you still think Trump and abnormal could apply to 2 different parties.

But, you think Tim Pool is a liberal so I guess that checks.
What a thorough review of my commentary. You responded to the points I made so well it is as if I didn't make them at all.
Says nothing. Means nothing.

Libertarian to it's core..

Still think Tim Pool is a liberal by the way? You kinda missed that point.
That you think he isn't says more about you. Wanna address why I think Trump is acting differently?
Why don’t YOU address why you think Trump is acting different flu.

I agree that he’s different t this term but more in degree of ineptitude, batshit craziness and full on megalomania and dementia. I’m pretty certain those are not how you think he’s different.

Honestly I don't have any ideas as to why he is acting different.

I know that for people like Patooka, saying anything other than "he is awful" is considered praise, so simply making the neutral statement "he is acting different" is considered praise. At least you took my post seriously and noticed that he is indeed acting different. It shows you can read.

No, I don't know why he is acting different. I wish I had an idea why. Unlike most people in politics, Trump has always been a little harder to figure out to the point where he can be predicted.

Pause here so Patooka can respond "of course he can be predicted, he'll do something bad". Okay Patooka, but what bad thing in particular? That's the point of my posting this in the first place.

My first suspicion was that the pro-war party had finally gotten to him. It's a bi-partisan party, and it control a significant portion of the permanent government bureaucracy. Still, that doesn't fit very well because he lasted 5 years resisting them. The last time a president significantly resisted the pro-war party was Kennedy. Maybe they said the same thing to him. I simply don't know.

Oh, that's untrue. Biden and Obama didn't always follow the "pro-war party". Israel tried to talk both Obama and Biden into attacking Iran several times. Just like how they conned Trump. But Obama and Biden were too savvy for that.

Maybe that’s because he’s NOT.
He's the same good ol’ demented wannabe billionaire boy, just a tiny bit more demented every day.
My wife has some pretty bad dementia and when it’s in your face so much you get more sensitive to its signs.
Trump’s decline seems to be accelerating, and thats probably giving you an illusion of change, but mostly its just loss of reserve and what you see now is simply the “real” Trump, now increasingly unconstrained by continuity of thought.

Yes, Jason. Orange man bad. He has always been a very bad man. But I still have an occasional pang of sympathy for someone who suffers like he does…
That is, in between wishing I could be left in a room alone with him for ten minutes, f’ya know what I mean.

His actions over the last couple months have been completely at odds with his in-office actions previous.
You must be thinking of another President Trump. Because the guy in the White House today, said this in his first term.
article said:
“The US has great strength and patience,” Trump said. But he added: “If it is forced to defend ourselves or our allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea.”

As alarmed murmurs spread around the hall, Trump had another barb. Using his newly adopted epithet for Kim Jong-un, Trump said: “Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime.”
His rhetoric isn't new. It got out there this last time, but it isn't new.
He didn't rise through the ranks like other politicians had, and therefore didn't learn to love war the way other politicians had. He was generally uninterested in war, but liked to brag every time he got two countries to make peace. He claimed as his greatest achievement arranging the withdrawal from Afghanistan, which although messy in implementation is something I think was a good thing.

In the last few months he did a military strike in Venezuela and a bombing campaign in Iran. This is not normal for him.
You are completely mistaking him having no one saying "No" to him with him acting differently. Kelly and McMaster, among others, stood in the way of lunacy during his first term.

According to the NY Times (linked in the Iran War thread), this whole thing was Netanyahu's idea that was plopped on Trump and while US Intel wonks laughed it off as being utterly ridiculous (they ended up being right), almost no one but VP Vance, of all people, made an actual case against Trump, despite thinking it was a bad idea. Trump's cabinet is afraid of the repercussions of angering Trump.

This isn't Trump acting differently. This is Trump in the White House without any barriers of competency to stop him and his dumb ideas.
You nailed it. A+. Thanks for posting this.

Still don't know what the "usual orange mad bad way" refers to. Is it the fact that we know Trump is helping the people involved in Project 2025? Which we know is a real thing? Is that the "orange man bad" way?

President Donald Trump’s posting of a rendering that appeared to depict him as Jesus drew rare criticism from the religious right, prompting calls for him to take down the post and allegations of blasphemy.

Shortly after posting a screed against Pope Leo XIV on Sunday night as he returned to Washington from Florida, Trump shared an AI-generated image in the style of a painting, depicting him in a long white robe. In one hand was an orb glowing with light; Trump’s other hand rested on the forehead of a man in what resembled a hospital bed – light beaming from the man’s head as Trump appeared to pray for his healing. Patriotic symbols including an eagle, fireworks and the Statue of Liberty filled the frame.

Unlike the post criticizing Leo, whom Trump later said he didn’t like and is too “liberal,” the image evoking Jesus drew swift criticism from some evangelical Christians and conservative Catholics who have otherwise expressed near constant support for Trump’s decisions.

Trump's near assassination and the weird way he is responding on Epstein might be the events what finally did him in.

Trump has since taken it down, according to his news conference. He claimed it was supposed to depict him as a doctor helping people but only the ‘fake news’ or ‘liberal’ media could have seen it as depicting him as Jesus. Because you know, he wants to help people and he thinks he’s helped a lot of people..
