There is something wrong with young women

Personally I think Californian women are all crazy nut cases. I don't know a Californian women, but read it in The Guardian.
It’s true. I’ve been there and they are uniformly cray cray. But Seattle puts it to shame, and Portland - well, just get outa town!

It is horrible. They don't shave their legs and armpits.

It's been my experience women will shave if you give them a reason. Meeting a human being half way works like that.

That was a joke.

Personally I would never have asked a woman to shave. It is a personal choice. Whether I would have had a relationship would be my personal choice.

That's not really a thing here much anymore, except in isolated "hippy" communities. But no doubt, we do have our share of cray cray.

Yeah, telling a woman to shave her legs or armpits because you don't find it attractive is not going to end well for you. Best to just move on.

Yeah, but I mean, you gotta take it as a comparative thing. I mean, those east coast girls are hip, I really dig those styles masks they wear, but...
FIFY. This story seems to be on topic...

#NotAllLesbians – we can’t let the Massachusetts bar drama turn us all into a punchline

The story begins at the Last Ditch Bar and Arts Venue, which opened up last year as a place for “dykes, transsexuals, gender freaks, workers, and their friends”. One of the bar’s key selling points was that it required KN-95 masks (“or better”) at all times, to accommodate the immunocompromised and the Covid-conscious. Well I say “selling points”, but a big issue with Last Ditch is it didn’t do much selling. In keeping with its values, it had an open-door policy, stating that nobody would be turned away if they couldn’t pay the cover charge, including “unhoused people”. This was very generous of them, but also a formula for losing money.
In order to try to stop hemorrhaging cash so they could continue to pay rent, the venue eventually decided to move to a mask-optional policy. This caused an uproar. A sample comment on Instagram: “I hope your venue gets firebombed for robbing my fellow immunocompromised people of their Saturday plans just to scrape extra revenue from ablists [sic].”

The other day, I decided to shave my armpits. I did this about a year or so ago, too, mostly because I usually hit the gym in a tank top. First, it feels awkward unleashing a giant bush of hair on the unsuspecting public during shoulder presses. Second, dragging that bush across shared equipment--like the preacher curl bench--just seems objectively rude. Plus, sometimes it just gets too long.

Judging by the sudden shift in this thread, I hadn't realized my grooming choices were so deeply offensive. After all, I am a man, dammit!

When I first started doing this, I knew perfectly well that some people at the gym would quietly question my masculinity or sexual preferences. I simply chose not to care. I know I am there to put in the work, and my regimen speaks for itself. Credibility is built on observable effort, and my routine naturally wins over most of these people anyway.

Overturning someone else's contrary opinion on this in the gym simply isn't worth my time or energy. I have vastly more productive things to do than fix someone else's broken, irrational hang-ups when the work I am doing naturally filters out the noise. Essentially, their judgment is a you problem, not a me problem.

So, regarding women: they can do whatever they want with their armpit hair, too. You don't have to find it attractive, but if you think a woman is crazy or open to public critique merely on the basis of what grows under her arms, that is also entirely a you problem.

Groom, don't groom, people are always gonna judge, it's part of human nature. The disturbing part is the action/reaction after the judgement.

Do you shave yours?

Have you been to Europe??

I think Steve is being facetious, but I could be wrong.

What’s this ‘give them reason’ shit?
My dog is COVERED with hair and I love her dearly. I would love her no more if she was shaved clean. Why are we so mean to our women?

No, but in our modern culture men do. Our modern culture of vanity.

Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method for 100% permanent chest hair removal, though treating a large area like the male chest takes significant time because follicles are targeted one by one.

Men and women remove pubic hair as well.

Never had any interest in traveling to Europe.
