Capacity is not an issue with almost all mass shootings. Doesn't mean capacity isn't an issue in defensive situations. Mass shootings nobody is shooting back (if somebody is shooting back that almost certainly ends the mass shooting even if they don't stop the shooter), they can reload.

You can learn a lot by examining counterfactuals.
In this case, pretend the shooters couldn't get high capacity magazines and what effect that would have had on the outcome.
Las Vegas, certainly--but note the guy had stuff much more illegal than a big magazine. A ban would not have mattered.
One from Arizona should have, he was jumped while reloading. But it turned out that his reload was damaged, there is no way he would have gotten any more shots off if he hadn't been jumped.

Estimates of the number of guns out there range over the hundreds of millions. Pretty hard to seize guns you don't know about. (Which is why gun banners are always after gun registration.) You'll disarm the law abiding before you disarm the criminals.
You've fallen into the standard do-something trap. No, doing "something" is virtually certain to be the wrong action. A right action stands on it's own, anything that is presented as an answer to we-have-to-do-something has already failed that test.
That's the theory. Except in practice the actual rate of fire is well below what even half-ass reloading could keep up with.

The only answer I can give is that it has worked every time it's been employed. Apart from that minor detail - fuck. You've got me dead to rights. But good luck with your "School shootings are just a necessary evil to preserve our well regulated belief in a 2nd Amendment militia".
The solution is there if you want it. Also, it's worth pointing out the people who need more than 5 shots to defend themselves should not be near a firearm. But I'll be generous and say 10 rounds. If they were the only magazines available it would cut down the amount of casualties your country suffers - your fantasies notwithstanding.

Depends how often one flies. These kinds of statistics ( and you provided now sources so I can’t know for sure) are usually averaged over such large swaths of parameter space they aren’t useful for predictions.
ETA: I admit one can die in an airplane crash without ever flying, but that’s even lower odds compared to being a passenger on board.

I feel that it is important to point out that Loren dues not have children. While Loren can make some good points, I’ve noticed that his ability to feel empathy or concern is limited to how much an issue affects him or his immediate family. I don’t mean this as a ding. I know a lot of people like that. But I do see it as a limitation.
