Soviet Russia and Putin's Russia were and are shit holes. No western freedoms, oppression, people afraid to speak their minds.

As I have said to me Russia is a dark hole, nothing comes out. We see movies from China, Japan, India, South Korea. We have Chinese TV channels from China on cable.

We see what goes in in Europe and China from reporting.

Litle from Russia. It is a dictatorship with Puin terrified of any visbity from outside. Foreign reporters harassed and arrested.

So like I said, if Putin stays with Russian borders and stops making threats Europe or anyone else wound care what happens inside Russia,.

Russia agitates in Europe, we know. Like the Soviets Putin wantss to make everybody else as miserable as Russia.

We don't get Russian movies for the obvious reason no one wants to watch Russian cinema. What we do have is thousands of short videos of burning refineries and warehouses, all recorded by Russian citizens who don't seem to realize that Ukraine needs that kind of information. One of the problems of pretending the Special Military Operation is not a war is your citizens are going to see a burning Wildberries as a news event, not target accuracy and munition effectiveness military intelligence.
 
LOL, CIA apparently is not happy with latest Trump escapades with respect to Russia/Ukraine.
So they openly "admitted" they are conducting a war with Russia and proud of it and Trump is on it too.
Everything in hunky-dory :)

I beg to differ. Youtube filled with american reaction videos to old Soviet Cinema.
Some of it were quite anti-communist. And while creators had some troubles with the government they all died from natural causes and had careers for the most part. Soviet regime for the most of its history was not stalinist hellhole.
All soviet and even later russian movies are on Youtube, some with english subtitles.
If not on youtube then they are definetly on RuTube and VK-video.
So you are utterly wrong. While India and even China has been producing volumes of movies it's ridiculous to compare them to the best from USSR. There is no comparison, period. Your stupid Hollywood was stealing footage from soviet scifi without attribution. whole movies! Without any mentioning that it was soviet.

It also have all NFL/NHL/NBA games, again with russian commentators.
It's really weird watching NFL in russian.

RT is banned because they were too western looking and too good at exposing your propaganda and lies.
Nowdays TV is less important because virtually everything can be watched on internet.
You can watch RT just fine if you want. It's just Regime in Washington does not want it to be too easy.

Old Soviet cinema is not Russian cinema. Russian movies can't sell tickets in the US. On the other hand, videos of burning Russian refineries and warehouses are very popular.

Are you sure? It's "history" was ~69 years; Stalin himself ruled for 31 of those, so it was not only stalinist, but actual factual Stalin-led for 45% of its history. It took Khrushchev three years before he denounced stalinism, so to avoid crossing the line into "most of its history", his destalinization efforts would have needed to be blindingly quick.
