2026 Mid-Term Elections

Your hatred for me is so strong
Poor Derec.
IDK about anyone else here, but literally the only times I think about Derec are when I'm here and immediately reading one of his inane posts.

No derec, nobody hates you. Hate requires a level of "caring about it", and while nobody here really likes you, we also don't really care about you, either, much like a circus clown.

Faux Nooz is hilarious this morning. Sour grapes by the bunch, but the very best line -
“thank god they won a huge majority because now they won’t be beholden to DSA”
Yeah, Derec agrees! 😃😂😁

Funny how yesterday’s boogeymen stop being an issue when the boogeyman party takes control.

I’m hoping this margin of victory is sufficient to overcome the planned 1/3/27 funny business.

El-Sayed wins.

Woot! Sharia law in every pot!

This is such a fucking insane take. How is El-Sayed in any way or respect definable as an "Islamic fundamentalist"? Do your regard Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez as a Christian fundamentalist? Is President Trump a Christian fundamentalist?

You sound surprised. Are you new here?
Faux Nooz is raving about all the socialists who got elected, then telling us how eager Trump is to work with them.
If the fox tongue was any more forked it would look like a ponytail.

I heard yesterday a pretty highly respected election predictor, forgot the name but most here would know it (I'm terrible at remembering names), predicted the Dems would gain 22 seats in the House and 6 in the Senate.

:cheer::cheer::cheer:
I remembered. David Sirota.

Well, as I said, I think it all comes down to the fact that whoever accused a normal person of fundamentalism out of the blue as a criticism is themselves a fundamentalist of some kind.

B-but we don’t have a final count, right?

The Senate is now D 54 - R 44, with 2 not yet decided.

The House is D 228 - R 139, with 68 not yet decided. The D's are above the 218 threshold for control.

Cute tidbit: running in AR-03 was Robb Ryerse, who ran as a Republican back in 2018. He was in the first batch of recruits of Brand New Congress, the PAC that recruited Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. But this time around, he ran as a Democrat. He lost the Republican primary in 2018 and the general election this year. He was a Bernie Sanders Republican back then, something like being a Communist for Reagan.

In CO-04, Lauren Boebert is losing to the Democrat by about 1.5%.

So both MTG and LB will be gone from Congress. I remember their drama llama.

Sure, mate. Please cry harder.
You left-wingers so strongly supporting the likes of Hasan Piker, Abdulrahman El Sayed and Adam Hamawy just proves my thesis that Islamoleftism, or islamo-gauchisme in French, is an actual thing, even though some deny it.
It's not about "crying", as your sophomoric taunting suggests, but that this development is very bad for the Democratic Party and for the country as a whole.
WTF??? I wouldn't know who Hasan Picker and Adam Hamaway were if not for you.
