It was the photo of him standing next to the Pope that got me.

What's most alarming is that he's merkantilistic. He really doesn't understand that a trade-deficit is fine.

Adam Smith published the Wealth of Nations in 1776. Trump's dumb-ass economic ideas are 241 years obsolete now. This is the kind of ideas that uneducated morons hold today. But this guy is the president of the world's richest country. It's like he's never wondered what makes USA so wealthy? It's so fucking no ok.

My biggest worry is that he'll run USA like he runs his companies, ie into the ground. USA is such a big economy, that's going to hurt for everybody.

Also, worth pointing out, Obama was also America first. Trump isn't unique or new in that he tries to put American interests in the first room. It always cracks me up when he pretends like this is unique for him

Yes, that plus the erosion of civil rights, the destruction of the environment, the continued gutting of education and the not insignificant chance of war with...someone. Probably North Korea. ALL of those issues extend well beyond the US borders.

Heard that his people are keeping him too busy to twitter. That helps reduce embarrassments, and security leaks, a lot.

If idiot Trump voters aren't alarmed yet they don't deserve democracy and freedom. We've got to fight for our democratic powers and this clown is trying his best to take them away

yI don't think it's quite that ambitious.

Not all positions.

Just those that do or could threaten him or his interests. So a New York prosecutor looking into New York real estate or money laundering, he needs to be on the Trump Team, and the FBI people looking into Russia connections and so on, but anyone in Utah or Wyoming or any market Trump's not in or thinking about getting into won't be on the list...

And I thought this thread ended because it had been uniformly, albeit not explicitly decided, that as long as Trump's in office, there will not be a day without Stupid.
