What you describe are the beliefs and words of those that believe in God, not God.

So what we have is not the Word of God, but the words and works of believers.

That's not what I am saying - IF we believe that God exists and since we believe that He/She/It made all that we see
Then He has also made rules and laws that we ALL abide by
That childhood does not last long - we MUST grow up, move out of the nest once we are Adults
That is the story of Adam - i really should expand that in another post
Get a job, EARN a living, face the world on our own
We see all other life forms doing the same - except maybe getting the job part - well, ants do also get jobs

Why would he create two different opposing worlds?

Well so are ticks, mosquitoes and others
And God created them also

And Hinduism is saying - Tat Tvam Asi - You Are That
Basically asking what are you? Are you a strong, independent Adult able to face the world on your own, earn a living?
or are you a damsel in distress needing a savior, a helpless child needing to be kept in comfort
Fed, protected, sheltered, cared for & kept away from the big bad REAL WORLD?
If you are the latter, then a life as a Dog might be best for you - you will get your heaven!
Or a virus, or a tick, a mosquito

One final note on the subject of Dogs:
1 - WE want to live with our OWN kind and that too within our own civilization. If we ever get shipwrecked and land on an island
primitive people living there welcome us, give us food and take care of us
But we don't want to live there, we want to get back to our life
2 - WE want to eat food that is EARNED, paid for - we do not want to Beg, live off Charity
3 - WE are independent, we are not sponging off anyone
4 - WE can go whenever we want
5 - When we go out, we are not put on a leash
6 - We are not attracted to every female(assuming you are a male as I am), some make us go mad with desire, others not so much. once married we can have sex whenever we want or most times
7 - and this is the big one - WE get to have loving families - parents, maybe grandparents living with them, kids!
All the joys and celebrations of life
8 - And this is the most cruel one - As parents we get to love, kiss and bring up OUR children in a safe, loving home
We don't have to watch helplessly as strangers come to our hospital bed and pick up our new born children and go away
our children never to be seen again!
ALL THE ABOVE DENIED TO OUR DOGS! OUR "BEST FRIEND!" INDEED!

But what you say is an expression of your own belief, the theology you endorse, and not something that can be attributed to 'God,' whatever that's supposed to be.

It comes from you. It comes from all those who believe in a God, be it the bible version or something else.

And, in case you didn't know, dogs are ready to leave their mothers by the time they are around 2 to 3 months old. They aren't dependent on parents nearly as long as humans are, and some humans suffer from cognitive impairments, mental diseases or physical disabilities that keep them totally dependent on others for their entire lives. If they are fortunate, they will have good caretakers. Some will end up in understaffed long term care facilities where their basic needs won't be met, which is very sad. Plus many older adults are no longer independent, yet they still have some worth. I'm old but I also cared for older adults for decades. They needed me while they gave me a purpose and a job. Again, a mutual beneficial relationship. I'm not sure many humans or other animals are totally independent. We all depend on others for a lot of things.

If you're not. having a mental breakdown of some kind, please lighten up, for dog's sake.

I think the discussion got a bit sidetracked - in fact I allowed it to be when discussing whether the Dog is a freeloader, a parasite or not
That was not the point of the post
Basically the dog is a dependent - as a pet it depends on us for food, shelter, care, safety & for that it has paid a terrible price
In the wild, dogs are independent - they hunt in packs, raise families, deal with dangers on their own
And of course they are not alone, we see all creatures on earth doing this - from plants to bugs to ourselves
.
Of course there are exceptions - as it was pointed out - Viruses are parasites and we have mosquitoes, ticks living off others
Some humans as well - Prostitutes, gigolos(though these two do not qualify as strictly parasites, they do offer a service to their Sugar Daddies) but there are real parasites - yes-men, sycophants, cronies - who sing praises of their rich & powerful Sugar Daddies like Putin and live a life of comfort sponging off him

When I view Heaven that is what I see - billions of parasites shamelessly sponging off God
Whenever I ask - What does one DO in Heaven? What Work?
Sure, I get this "We will be working for Gaaawd!" bit, but I press a bit more - I ask for Details!
I ask - Describe a typical DAY in Heaven to me
I ask - what Value do you add to Heaven? Why does God NEED you in Heaven?

Most puppies do not get to stay with their mothers for 2,3 months - in a very few days most of them are given away
