Austin Under Siege

Looks like they got the bomber last night. He blew himself up.

It was nice of him to leave that calling card, so the officers have a pretty good idea it was him.

Also, that was pretty good work. They found him out of the blue quickly.

Though, based on this article, sounds like he was responsible for the Fedex packages.

Hmm. Young white male.

What broad sweeping generalizations can we make based on that?

  1. Suspect was white
  2. Suspect targeted minority neighborhoods
  3. Suspect was homeschooled
  4. Suspect considered doing missionary work

Sounds like another conservative terrorist freedom fighter.

Once again, the mainstream media avoids using the word "terrorist" because the suspect was a white guy. Apparently we can only call white people terrorists if they are from Ireland and killing for a specific political cause.

According to past conservative arguments, we can therefore conclude that all white people are terrorists. Conservative arguments always use valid logic, therefore it is true that all white people are terrorists.

Well, by definition, a terrorist does kill for a specific political cause, using the method of random killing to terrify their enemies into altering their political policies.
While there does certainly seem to be a racist double standard in how people throw around the term, the problem isn't that they don't use it enough for whites but that they use it too much with non-whites. Very few serial or mass murderers objectively qualify for the term "terrorist".

Well, this cleaned up the gene pool a little bit. Now we will see bits and pieces coming out about his politics and his slide into self radicalization. What was he reading online? What websites did he go to?

I doubt he was either a terrorist or a freedom fighter. Just nutcase hatred.

What kind of foundation did he get in church and homeschooling. Sure, he was an extremist, but an extremist _what_?

Was he white or latino? Are these very bleached out photos of him done on purpose? Is he as white as Zimmerman?

Latino is white. They come from a white culture that traces itself back to Iberia. The fact that they mingled with non-whites doesn't change this because the culture they live by is still white. Certainly this is the case with this particular individual.
