GOP frontrunner Ben Carson, in a 1998 commencement address, floated his own personal theory that the pyramids in Egypt were built by Joseph -- the biblical patriarch known for his coat of many colors -- to store grain, Buzzfeed reported.

In the speech -- given at Andrews University, a school with ties to Carson's Seventh-day Adventist faith -- the neurosurgeon shot down claim that aliens had built the pyramids. But he also disagreed with the archaeological consensus that the pyramids were constructed as tombs for the pharaohs.

This reflects the kind of delusional thinking this man is capable of.

"Those archaeologists that have been looking at this for a long time know nothing. I with my super powers given to all brain surgeons know better."

He is all ready to dismiss any scientific consensus with his god delusion.

If you build the Pyramids, you automatically get a granary in every city?

Has anyone explained to Ben that it's a game, not a do-it-yourself documentary?
 
They have to be punking us. First Trump, now Carson. These men cannot possibly be serious contenders for the presidency of the United States.

Depends on the version you're playing.

Pyramid effects by game:

  • Civilization 1: Only 1 turn of anarchy after government change, and unlocks all government types.
  • Civilization 2: Puts a granary in each of your cities.
  • Civilization 3: Puts a granary in each of your cities.
  • Civilization 4: Enables all government civics.
  • Civilization 5: Tile improvement happens 25% faster, and 2 workers appear near the city.

Well, there's a reason that you get more workers and they build things faster - it's because they get extra calories from all that grain which is being stored in the Pyramids. So, it looks like Carson nailed it on this one.

Yes, he's the candidate of the hour. Trump is on the downswing and Jeb! is flopping like a fish but still has a chance once the Primaries begin. As does Rubio.

Maybe that's the solution to the Mystery?

They built the pyramids by piling the stones on big-assed piles of grain. Then ate their way down the interior, replacing the lost grains with more stones.

Would he sue?
