Biden wants to Appoint Communist to take over Banking: Scary & Unbelievable

Oh you guys have fear, too. It's just on stuff that isn't as threatening.
I think I understand. You are saying the left manufactures fear, making it a political point to further some nefarious agenda. The fear the right has is genuine but what the left is afraid of is completely synthetic.

You may have a point. You're a new member but I wish you were part of the forum back when Mr Potato Head, Dr Seuss, Benjamin Ghazi and Critical Race Theory was talking points. I'm sure you would have 'splained it good on how the right aren't a bunch irrational scardy cunts. Just be careful of AOC.

Crazy how a perfect communist uptopian country like cuba still has crap cars from the 50's on their streets. Funny, isn't it?

  1. The 1950s is the era when all the conservatives think we should all be as great as, isn’t it? “Take Our Country Back” is all about taking it back to the 50s.
  2. If you’ve got a bunch of cars still running after 70 years, they aren’t “crap cars,” are they.
The rest of your posts just say more unsubstantiated stuff that’s been debunked dozens of times.
I’m frankly surprised that you don’t get angry at the sources that feed you this kind of information, they know it’s all been debunked, but they propagandize hoping they can get their marks to believe it and get angry over it and vote for the GOP, who will do nothing about it at all, just keep moving money from the pockets of the working man to the vaults of the ultra rich.

I’ve heard that a lot of people are starting to get very angry at folks like Alex Jones and OAN and Brietbart an Tucker Carlson for suckering them, and they’re not going to fall in line fo the ultra rich any more.

We can discuss those point by point if you want:
Mr Potato Head: Well, I have no problem with allowing children to dress how they want, I have more of a problem with forcing me to accept that a man can actually be a woman and a woman can actually be a man. The words become meaningless without a definition. This was my whole point in another thread about transgender people.
Dr Suess: They removed books that had some racist stuff in them. I am OK with this. This isn't really a big deal. The problem is that they are catering to the woke mob in doing this. It's a virtue signal. It's not from a motive of them caring.
Benghazi: didn't really read up on this too much
CRT: It should be taught. But what should be taught is that the Democrats keep a lot of black people in the ghetto by underfunding the neighborhood schools and letting gang crime run rampant. But they keep voting Democrat because they give them a paultry amount of welfare every month. Even The Great Savior Obama Himself sent his kids to a private school instead of his local public school. Republicans like Trump want to invest $500 billion in the black community and stop gang violence. Democrats want to keep black people down and Republicans want to lift them up. When I tell some people that there are some crime ridden cities that have been run by Democrats for over 50 years, they look shocked and tell me that they thought all those black inner cities were run by racist Republicans trying to keep them down.

When confronted with news that is scary and unbelievable, I generally choose to disbelieve, rather than to be scared, as people who lie in order to manipulate by evoking fear are commonplace, while genuinely scary situations that are hard to believe are very rare indeed.

The hallmark of right-wing supporters is their inclination to choose fear over skepticism. It's a major cognitive error, and the cause of much right-wing policy.

Oh you guys have fear, too. It's just on stuff that isn't as threatening. For example, you guys are scared to death of COVID.
I am not 'guys'; there's only one of me.

I am not scared to death of COVID; I understand the risk it poses, having studied some virology and the history of respiratory diseases since the Industrial Revolution.
Republicans are not. Even the people who tell you guys, "Yeah we don't care if we get it. Let's take a risk and not get the vaccine. We're only infecting people who are OK with taking the risk," you still yell at them.
That's got zero to do with fear, and everything to do with the fact that they are infecting people who are NOT OK with taking the risk. That they are too fucking stupid to recognise the threat they pose to others doesn't make them any less reprehensible; I am not scared of them, I am fucking livid at their unthinkingly risking the lives of others.
You guys are scared to death of white supremacists.
There's only one of me, and I am not scared of white supremacists, I just despise them.
Is it reasonable to be fearful of COVID? Yes
Indeed.
but not to the extreme that liberals take it.
I despise the Liberals too, but they don't appear particularly fearful of COVID.
They become unhinged lunatics about it the way they listen to Saint Fauci
I don't particularly listen to Fauci; His bailiwick is on the other side of the Pacific Ocean. Why would I care about him, rather than our local experts?
Is it reasonable to be fearful of white supremacists? Sure, but not to the extreme that liberals take it.
Nah, they're all mouth. Like most bullies, they aren't to be feared, just opposed.
They also become unhinged lunatics about it. It's reasonable to become fearful of black supremacists, too. But liberals don't care about that type of racism. I don't mess around. I hate all types of racism. but since I'm not a coward, I can say that.
You can say anything. You don't need to stop being a coward in order to say stuff, even stupid stuff.
The bigger threat is the communist being appointed by Biden and his minions.
There's no such threat. You're being lied to, and you're allowing your fear to override your skepticism - just as the liars hoped you would.

The people who are not choosing to get the vaccine will only end up giving to other people who also chose not to get the vaccine. If they truly didn't want to get COVID, they would have gotten the vaccine. Since they chose not to get the vaccine, then they agree to take a risk to be around people who also want to take that risk. Saying, "He might give COVID to my sweet grandmother!" doesn't mean anything if that sweet grandmother also chose to not get the vaccine.

You gotta really think about these things thoroughly.

Well since I go by nothing but the facts, I will say that when Obama was President, the media loved the guy. He could do no wrong. He was The Savior. Then anti-establishment Trump came into office and the media despised him and treated him like dirt every single day of his Presidency hammering him relentlessly. A wimp would've quit after 1 day of that treatment. Trump took it every single day no-stop for 4 years. Then Biden came in and now the media loves him. Biden can do no wrong, either.

The question is why? Why did the establishment media despise Donald Trump but loved Obama and Biden? It's almost like Trump was actually for the people and the establishment hated him for it. The idea of a conservative being the actual rebel is an idea that is alien to many people. The funny thing is, the conservatives are the underdogs now and everyone knows it. The left has big tech, corporations, the media, and Hollywood under their control. Conservatives are portrayed nowhere. They have become the new counter-culture. It's become cool now to consider yourself a socialist or a communist and it's become rebellious to call yourself a capitalist. What a long way we've come.

We literally live in a society where it is considered racist to tell a black man that his life would be better if he got a job, yet those same people make fun of rural unemployed whites for not having a job and call them inbred hicks. Very racist.

The people who are not choosing to get the vaccine will only end up giving to other people who also chose not to get the vaccine.
That's simply not true.

The existence of a pool of virus circulating amongst the unvaccinated poses a serious and real risk of a new variant arising that can bypass the protection offered by the vaccine.

There's strong evidence that this is already happening.

Your simplistic viewpoint in which vaccines are perfect and permanently effective against all future variants is just plain wrong.

You gotta really think about these things thoroughly. And you can't even start to do that without an understanding of the underlying virology. Which you clearly lack.

I generally have very low opinion about money people (all of them, regardless of the ideology) I had not heard about her until this particular issue came out. So I watched one of her long interviews. I did not change my opinion about money people.

Thought this was relevant to Biden discussion. I linked it to start at the exact spot of Biden's failures. He's only at 36% approval right now.

What you say does make sense. This is why I think people should get the vaccine. But if they don't want to, we can't abduct them and jab them in the arm against their will. This isn't China or North Korea. I think people are just fed up that they were being lied to by the media about it non-stop since it started. First Fauci said that covid is no big deal and we shouldn;'t worry. Then he said we need to worry. Then he said no masks, then he said 1 mask then he said 2 masks then no mask then mask then no mask. It really has gotten ridiculous and you can see why people would get fed up at the "experts."

"Just give us 2 weeks to slow the spread" - Media and doctors, March 2020.

I don't know why are you derailing your own thread but this is still valid.
We can not only slow this virus, we can eliminate it in just two weeks ..... of actual quarantine.

You missed the point. It's been almost 2 years of "just 2 weeks to slow the spread." We went into lockdown. Didn't work.

Biden wants to appoint communist Saule Omarova to take over banking. ...

Here's a tweet from her:

"Until I came to the US, I couldn't imagine that things like gender pay gap still existed in today's world. Say what you will about old USSR, there was no gender pay gap there. Market doesn't always "know best.""

...
Why is this story not getting more attention? Because a lot of the people want Marxism to be ushered in. They are starting to get more and more blatant with this stuff.

Well, the evidence presented here is insufficient to establish whether Ms. Omarova is a communist, but it's quite sufficient to establish that she's not qualified to be put in any policy-making position. She's too gullible.

Gender pay gap in Russia

Of course the old USSR had a gender pay gap. How big an idiot would someone have to be not to know the Soviet authorities lied about that sort of thing?

You missed the point. It's been almost 2 years of "just 2 weeks to slow the spread." We went into lockdown. Didn't work.
It did not work because small percentage of people actively sabotaged it, the rest sabotaged it passively.

And it worked in China.

No, there was no gender pay gap there. All salaries were known and fixed.
Of course US does not really have gender pay gap either, so the point is mute.

It worked over there because they are very authoritarian. Trump was not authoritarian no matter how much people like to say he was. If he was, we would've been locked down without questions. Thank God Trump is the farthest thing from an authoritarian. Tell me, does China allow its people to have guns like Trump did?

So, now it is about Trump&guns?

I did not know Trump passed 2nd amendment. He must be a vampire or Highlander of some kind.

My point was that authoritarians come for your guns. Trump did not. He embraced the 2nd amendment. The only ones who talk about taking the guns are Democrat authoritarians. Strange, right?

Well, it turns out the conspiracy theorists are somewhat right so far. They said it was never going to end and so far, it's not. Israel is the most vaccinated country in the world and they are closing their border. Weird how they need to do that despite being the most vaccinated and nobody calls them racist for closing their border. What an odd world we live in.

It's also strange that Klaus Schwab said, "You will own nothing and like it" about his plan to use CoVID to abandon capitalism and rule by authoritarianism. Really creepy stuff.

Can we skip all that and go straight to the merits of Many World Interpretations of Quantum Mechanics?
