Brandon's losing the plot

Just when we thought we finally grasped the depth of QOPAnon stupidity, we see Jordan Klepper interviewing Trumpsuckers who paid money and spent an entire day to help finance T***p's "Stop the Steal" grift. They knew nothing about January 6: — Some were completely unaware that there was an insurrection. One man thought the insurrection was led by Nancy Pelosi or George Soros.

At about the 5-minute mark, Jordan shows some of the "Let's Go Brandon" crowd videos of Ivanka Trump saying she trusts Bill Barr. Some of the imbeciles can't parse a sentence with two negatives and agree with the rational-thinkers until Jordan rephrases his question to avoid negatives. One Trumpsucker asks how he can know this Ivanka testimony wasn't edited in some way. Another says "It almost don't even look like her ... It might be one of those, what they got clones out there these days?"

America organized the Liberation of Europe in 1944. America landed a man on the Moon in 1969. I almost wonder if those facts are fake news! How could a people so capable have sunk to the imbecility that distinguishes those whingeing "Let's Go Brandon"?

A five-point cheat sheet, which was photographed by a number of media outlets that attended the session, which also included survivors of previous shootings, reminded the president to ask "What would you most want me to know about your experience?" and "What can we do to help you feel safe?"

The president had also written under point number five: "I hear you," prompting criticism after a photograph of the crib sheet was shared on social media.
How is this differant?
Wasn't Trump's card single words, where as Biden's was a whole bunch of stuff?

Hey, remember when TSwizzle's guy bragged about passing a basic competency test? But you know, Biden is brain dead.

They've been fed this trash for decades. They have absolutely no way of actually observing real life without the alt-right lens in front of their eyes. And for them to question anything they see now, would require admitting being completely stupid and wrong for a decade or decades. The brain is wired to spin stuff so the uncomfortable part of being wrong can be swept under the rug, it rewards the mind for political spin.

What's wrong with a cheat sheet?

Is your pilot losing the plot because he uses a checklist when doing various procedures?
The question is: is a cheat-sheet with such low-level instructions typical of previous presidents?
It has already been demonstrated instructions are common for such events. T
Nothing of the kind has been demonstrated.

hat you don't believe it is your problem.
I didn't even say I did not believe. I asked if low-level notes like that were common for former presidents. If you think the hand-written note that Donald Trump has counts, I don't know what to say to you. They're completely different. To begin with, Trump's was a list of questions he wanted to ask, which is something interviewers always have written down (if they're good interviewers). Biden's instructions reminded him to sit in his chair.

I've had detailed itineraries before but never one telling me how and when I should take a seat.
Good for you. Were you the featured speaker in an unfamiliar venue?
Not a "featured" speaker, but I have given an oral presentation at an academic conference at an unfamiliar venue, and I didn't get instructions on how to sit in my chair.

Biden's card was indeed a 'whole bunch of stuff' that normal people manage to navigate without that level of instruction.

I might be thinking of Palin, but I thought there was one cheat sheet that was particularly simplistic.

But the cited cheat sheet... I remember now... that was Trump's cheat sheet for the school shooting. And it needed to have a line specifically for empathy.

I hear White House staff will go so far as to reach out to reporters scheduled to be at briefings and ask what questions they plan on asking the president all in an effort for the president to avoid saying, "I'll get back to you on that".

See, it's all rigged! All rigged I tell you! Where to stand. What to do. Who the hell am I talking to. What country am I in again? I don't know how to show empathy! I need a cheat sheet for empathy!

Whew.

I suppose meetings, press conferences and such are like job interviews. No matter how much you prepare, when the spotlight is on you, you just freeze up. Forget the simplest stuff.

Then again some are just fucking hopeless.

How could Brandon be seriously considered as a presidential candidate in 2024?

Joe Biden has accidentally revealed a cheat sheet giving him basic commands about where to sit and what to do during a meeting with wind industry executives at the White House. The President mistakenly showed photographers the list of instructions that said 'take YOUR seat', 'YOU give brief comments' and 'YOU depart'. The 79-year-old was also instructed to speak to specific attendees, ask them questions and thank them before leaving. They have sparked major concerns for the President's welfare and mental capacity as he approaches 80 despite the White House shooting down questions over his health.

Daily Mail

Insufferable prick Gavin Newsom is giddy with excitement at the prospect of running for president. That will be a hoot.
A CHEAT SHEET!!?!?!??! IMPEACH the demon before its too late to stop Note-Gate from destroying the country!
Like Obama's "brown suit"... It's the worst "they" got so it's all "they" have.

"They" being the ineducable morons that eat this stuff up.

I get frustrated with Biden on occasion, but he's fundamentally a good man and a competent administrator, rare qualities in the White House. I've voted for him twice, once in 2012 and then in 2020, and I don't regret either vote. As an added bonus, he's so boring that the conservatives really have to stretch to credibly attack him on anything.

I'm sure it works for their base, but only because anything would. Anyone who has ever been to a meeting knows that it is not unusual for a presenter to have notes. And these notes, you know, they aren't written in Sharpie.

I remember when people were displeased with Eisenhower for being too old. He was 62 at his first inauguration, and was the very first President ever to serve at age 70. (His 70th birthday was just weeks before JFK was elected.) Those were the good old days.

It was Ronald Reagan who started the trend for over-aged Presidents, but he was actually still in his 60s (barely) at his first Inauguration. (When did Reagan's Alzheimer's symptoms show up?)

Would I prefer Presidents in their 60s instead of their 70s? You betcha! Kamala Harris will celebrate her 60th birthday shortly before the 2024 Election. Keep your fingers crossed!

But I'd take a non-demented 90-year old over a semi-literate sociopath who brags about taking a test doctors give old people to test for dementia!

One constant about Republicans and other QOPAnoners is that they impute their own faults and crimes to Democrats. T***P and multiple Members of Congress are accused of sexual harassment or even child sex trafficking? "Hillary ran a child sex ring out of a pizzeria." T***p and his "intellect" became the laughing-stock of the world? Biden uses a note-pad.

Some of these QOPAnoners are literate enough to post on message boards. Are they self-aware?

Let's Go Brandon!
So. I'd vote for Mike the Headless Chicken before I'd vote for Trump! I don't want to live in a dictatorship!

I'd vote for Mike the Headless Chicken before I would vote for Biden or Newsom and would vote for Trump before either of them.

But you didn't tell us if you'd vote for Mike the Headless Chicken before you'd vote for Trump.
If you’re asking me, Reagan’s Alzheimer’s was showing in his first term.

One of the reasons that in the past, POTUS were younger or rather, less old, is that people are living longer and healthier than in earlier times.

I get frustrated with Biden on occasion, but he's fundamentally a good man and a competent administrator, rare qualities in the White House.

He's neither of those things but in any event, he's losing his marbles.

"Sorry to hear your CFO unexpectedly dropped dead"

The Independent
"Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media. Hope that happens to me someday. He was a classic RINO [Republican in Name Only], if even that, always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!"

You know exactly who said that without my elucidating it, I trust. We can do this all day, but what's the point? None of these pieces of shit ever care about the citizens of the country they rule anyway; my main concern is the degree to which the presidency manages to keep its plutocratic paws off of my civil rights, and from the everyday conduct of my life. Trump was good at the latter, an overt danger to the former. Biden is mediocre at everything, and I find that preferable.

America can be defined in a single word;

Sad really but he's probably more coherent that the VP.

Most of them are highly religious.

They have spent their entire lives being continuously indoctrinated to believe nonsense, and to accept the proclamations of their tribal authorities, no matter how detached from reality.

“Certainement qui est en droit de vous rendre absurde, est en droit de vous rendre injuste” - Voltaire

Some are. The evangelicals are like that and they'll vote for Satan to get rid of abortion (and women in the work place). Other people are not very religious, but believe in God in a loose by their gut sense (never opened a Bible) and think things back in the good ole days were just better. Many have been riled up into a frenzy by AM radio and Cable News. People so brainwashed, they are political dysfunctional and grossly misinformed, like the people who hate government programs and love SS and Medicare.

Using the word "Brandon" instead of Biden is the surest sign of a deficient mind.

It is interesting to note that the people railing against some imagined socialism in the US are also the first to demand that the government step in and modify world gas prices for their benefit. When you examine this contridiction you find that "socialism" is perfectly fine as long as it doesn't benefit the 'other'.... which we all know to be black or brown.

Boring is a good quality in a president.

In another context, we would understand that someone who was unable to show empathy in social contexts might be autistic or neurodivergent.

I wish more Americans agreed! We would make far better choices at the ballot box.
