It makes our imminent loss of internet privacy a lot more ominous. I imagine this will have an inhibiting effect. A lot of people will order the Christi Brinkley when the one they really wanted was the Billy Joel model.

reminds me of an AI experiment where a program was designed to learn how to communicate with humans via reading millions of online forums. It went fairly well, until they put two of them in front of each other for a conversation. It degraded into a flame war pretty much immediately.

Then there was Tay... Microsoft's failed experiment that got trolled by twitter. Another story all together.
