Bob has moneys.

Bob gives Fred some of his moneys.

Now Fred owns some of Bob's moneys.

Bob doesn't own the moneys he gave Bob. He only owns the moneys that he didn't give Bob.

I am a local to California, though not to San Francisco. But I am familiar with their politics, and as such I don't think a damn dollar will ever be given to anyone as a result of either of the task forces that keep getting confused in this thread. That would be fair, but politics aren't fair.

I expect it will be additional taxes. You know, the type the phone company likes to bury on page 34 of the phone bill. $.20 for the new baseball stadium or added in to your property tax assessment. $.60 for "reparations".

Honestly, I don't see it as fair at all. I see no fairness in taking money from people, and giving it to other people, for the sake of political correctness.

So, they deflect demands for equity by creating little workshops and conference and task forces and focus groups to "study" issues of concern, then ignore the results of those initiatives or whittle them down to something that "looks good" but accomplishes little.
