"Canadian" pizza

A couple weeks ago, my wife was hospitalised for a week with The Shits (C. Difficile) When she got out, all she wanted was a pizza. I had a frozen one on hand labelled "Canadian Pizza". We were disappointed to discover that it was 'Canadian' because it had bacon on it, instead of pineapple.
Pineapple on pizza is Canadian, not Hawaiian. It was invented in Toronto by a Polish immigrant. What's more Canadian than that?
 
Speaking of pizza, my insurance agent sent me a coupon for a free pizza at my favorite pizza place. I'm weird because I not only must have pineapple on my pizza, I don't want cheese on it and the crust must be thin and crispy. They did a great job of making my favorite pizza. I almost forgot that I do sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top. I just hate gooey cheese.
 
Ugh, now I'm going to be craving pineapple on my pizza for the next week or more until I can get some on my face-hole. Thanks.

Yes it does and I can't stand pizza without pineapple on it. I'm from Jersey but I hate NY style pizza. I prefer thin, crispy pizza. I loved NY style pizza as a kid, but tastes often change as we age.

I ate some pizza in a restaurant about two weeks ago and they didn't have pineapple, so I will never have pizza there again, although since we know the owners well, I've considered asking them, if I brought some pineapple with me, would the cook add it to the pizza. I think most anything that a person likes belongs on pizza. It's basically bread with toppings on it, so why not choose the toppings of your choice?

And, since we're talking about what we ate today, on Wednesdays we always go to the best barbecue place around. I had chopped chicken, slaw and a baked sweet potato. I get the large size chicken so I can share it with my dogs. Sauce is always on the side.

Tonight will be crab cakes and fresh steamed vegetables.
 
People are really strange when it comes to pizza. I was in the business for far too many years, so I know a thing or two about pizza.
If you think about it is one of the oldest foods. Catch of the day on flat bread. I only like pineapple with Canadian style bacon. My fav is Garlic chicken. Buttermilk ranch with garlic, chicken, red onions, and tomatoes.

I've never heard of or watched that show, but I did leave Jersey in 1971 so....

I made myself watch part of the show Jersey Shore once. That was not the Jersey Shore I knew as a kid and teenager who loved going to the Jersey shore. We girls were a little wild back then but we never got in trouble by hitchhiking up and down the coast. The things you eat and do when you're young, you'd think were crazy when you're old.
