Climate Change(d)?

I haven’t surfed for a few years, my knees are done for. And I don’t go to the beach very often, particularly Santa Monica because of the homeless. Santa Monica pier is still standing strong though. (y)
What make;s you think anybody gives a shit?
You made up lies about me. Why do you do that?

If that is true you were bullshitting about witting ti go surfing sans wet suit. More of your bullshit implying climate change is not an issue.

I’d maybe get out there again. Surfing isn’t really my thing though. It’s not like it was my hobby.

You have zero credibility here. You still have not posted any credible fact based arguments to support your claims about climate change.

lol.

And for those who don't realize the importance: Sea surface temperature is a big factor in creating storms.

Another one of those glorious Seattle summer days.

Up on our roof deck with blues skies, hot sun, a view of Elliot Bay, and a cool ocean onshore breeze. You can smell the ocean.

California has nothing on this.

What Fizzle probably does not get is how skeptical people are on the forum.

Those posting on climate change have all probably thought it through and weighed the science against the evidence,

Form the Guardian article I linked to, one may be skeptical of some of the aspects of climate change theory and predictions, but still believe in the fundamental fact that climate change and warming is the result of human pollution.

You can go online and find something to support almost any view often by credentialed scientists.

Again Fizzle, if not human pollution what is the natural cause of global warming and ice melts?

There is no alternative answer as to cause other than pollution. After that one can debate consequences and severity. The consequences have become routine global news across countries.

Again who cares?

Pot some actual facts that support your claims, everything else is hand waving and ddeflectionn.

I care when someone repeatedly lies about me. Why do you do that?

I haven’t surfed off the mainland USA in … almost 30 years. Don’t intend to, either.
Too many “homed” people.

I am not putting you on ignore, but I will not respond to your posts until you answer these questions yes or no.

Given measurements and observations made globally by different people and groups in different countries:

1. Are glaciers and polar ice melting?
2. Are oceans warming?
3. Are sea levels rising?
4. Is there a natural explanation of the above other than pollution?

I doubt you can answer honestly, you realize that doing so leads to the the reality of climate change.

You whine that we are making up lies about you and call us cults and stupid?

Echoes of DLH.

Jeezus Christ, you still don’t understand that earth’s climate is variable. It’s astonishing to see someone so gripped by a religion.

Is there a natural explanation of the above other than pollution?

what pollution are you talking about, CO2?! This obsession needs to stop.

I would pay good money to see TSwizzle use this line of argument to avoid a speeding ticket.

"Did you know you were doing 90 in a 35 zone?"

"Yes, Officer, I was aware that my car was doing that speed".

"And did you have a reason for driving at 90?"

"Oh, it wasn't because of me, Officer. Didn't you know that the speed of a car is variable??"

His argument would at least be an argument if he stuck to 'this change is natural' instead of doing the 'no change' - 'this change is natural' two step, which exposes that he is just making noise in this thread

"You should be aware that a large amount of the variability of the speed of the car rests with decisions made by the driver. Please step out of the car, sir ..."

... if only.

The contradiction I see is that he believes the science that says the climate has been variable over the eons but ignores the science that says that reason climate change is driven by human actions. Even though it is the same scientific field providing both results. This is called cherry-picking and is one of the hallmarks of anti-science quackery.

"The car was just going that speed naturally."

For some reason this reminded me of the cop who stopped Heisenberg and Schrödinger:
Cop: "Do you know how fast you were going?
S: No idea! I know precisely where we are though.
Cop: You were going exactly 181 kph.
H: Shit. Now we're completely lost.
Cop: What do you have in the trunk?
. . .
