Cop Shoot Unarmed Man Crawling From Wreckage Of His Vehicle - No Charges

Edited response.

I almost never watch vids of people getting killed, but after having just watched this, I'm actually sickened by your post. Doesn't justify the shooting? It was a fucking homicide, and potentially 1st degree murder.
Are you confused? Or am I? Is the homicide victim (if there is a homicide victim) male or female?
Apparently he didn't die. Baseless assumption (though not unreasonable) on my part.

I really wonder what the original said ...

The only homicide here is Thomas accidentally killing his wife. He himself survived. And I don't see why you are sickened when I agreed that the shooting wasn't justified.
Because of the passive aggressive bullshit laying next to the 'While I think the shooting was wrong...'

That's like something out of a Bruce Willis movie.

You know I bet that if I accidentally shot someone while doing my job there would still be criminal charges against me. Tell me again why this cop is so special.

Because he has not used up his accidental shooting quota for this month yet.
Or he could be a muslim clock builder.

I'm so used to silly replies from you by now, I can't tell when you're being serious.

Who would be the best person to murder in reprisal for this police shooting?

The officer himself? The DA, the Police Chief or the Judge?

I think it would finally send a message, because nothing else is...

If I was on a jury for someone killing that rat bastard cop I would nullify it and vote not guilty.

Calm down.

Why shouldn't a cop sit outside a bar waiting for drunks to get behind the wheel?

Sounds like a guy who doesn't understand you don't put your finger on the trigger until you've decided to fire and the gun is on target.
Exactly. Every cop knows to keep his finger outside the trigger guard until he's ready to fire.

I wish that were the case--there's been too many issues with such mistakes.

Cop service weapons have the trigger pull effort set very high to discourage accidental trigger pull. I don't see how this could be accidental.

Setting the trigger pull high is a stupid response to cops putting their fingers on the trigger when they shouldn't. If you don't put your finger on the trigger it doesn't matter what the pull is.

Cop Shoots Drunk Driver In The Neck

A police officer was pursuing and drunk driver when the driver’s SUV flipped over. The officer got out of his vehicle pointed his gun at the driver and shot him twice in the neck. He will face no charges. The officer said the shooting was an accident.

It's an added safety feature to make sure that the trigger is only pulled when the person pulling the trigger wants it to be pulled, as obviously happened in this case.

It is getting pretty bad and hard to tell Poes because so many people have agendas these days. A shooting like this should be condemned with no "but" or "however" involved.

It seems some people have no trouble condoning attempts of summary execution applied in the field.

There was no reason to have the gun pulled in that situation to start with, forget having a finger on the trigger.

And why was his gun even drawn in the first place? Or do you think the officer was in reasonable fear the driver could have rolled the car on top of the officer?

Agreed to all you just said. Add in his evasion of the shooting and it shows that this is a man who should not be out on the streets with a badge and a gun.

I wonder what else he has in his background.

It still won't save you from an accidental shot when startled.
