Cop Shoot Unarmed Man Crawling From Wreckage Of His Vehicle - No Charges

Wait, so are they protesting that a white gud boi who dindu nuffin got killed by the police -OR- are they protesting police brutality, callousness and an attempted coverup?

Let me know, Derec.

Also, why is there not footage of these protests widely spread out there? Whites protesting en masse could really get the scales tipped against authoritarian cops and DAs in the whole country.

I think you just answered your own question.

Look like Officer (uncle) Feaster may be in some hot water after all.
True, the reason they said they could not prosecute them was that the driver didn't die. His death now opens the possibility of him being charged.
And so much for people only protest when black people are shot.
I have not seen any protests connected with this case, much less rioting, looting and arson connected with police shooting/killing black perps.

If you are really curious you can ask both of them directly. :)

Because it's not "en masse" and even if it were, I have not heard of any QTs or CVSs burning.

Of course if you didn't see it, it didn't happen. I bet you've never seen evolution so that didn't happen too.

Are you fucking kidding me?!
You think you can lead police on a chase and not have them point their weapon at you when you stop - especially if the stop is forced (by you overturning your SUV for example) and not voluntary?
The car was on it's fucking side.
That won't even erase your "wanted stars" in GTA. Why do you think it will make it a non-felony stop in real life?

Two people standing on a corner doesn't really a protest make. I mean they weren't even standing in the middle of the street, much less shut down any Interstates.
Let me steal this:

Huh? The report I read said once--and that the failure to shoot twice as their training dictated was suggestive of it being an accident.

It still won't save you from an accidental shot when startled.
Why in the hell was his gun drawn in the first place?!

Felony stop.
Are you fucking kidding me?! A felony stop?! The car was on it's fucking side.
Felony crash?

Someone save this so when derec gets shot by a cop we can repost it as evidence that derec had it coming for being a jpeg thief.

Oh, there was a felony but just not the one some people are thinking of.

Wasn't this a drunk stop? The officer tried to stop a DUI in progress, car crashes, and now because the driver was drunk, that means the officer should have his gun out, ready to kill? Is this similar to white collar felonies as well?

Multiple felonies.

It was a felony chase. If he runs its sensible for police to assume the perp is armed and dangerous. However, that doesn't mean the cop should act like a terminator.

But it was a suspected DUI. If the officer thought there was danger, could be argued, why in the hell did he approach the car and did not seem to make a single effort to be under cover?

These fucking wussy cowboy cops are making officers look like pussies/killers.

If they look like pussies/killers and act like pussies/killers and are indistuingashable from pussies/killers then maybe . . .

I'm talking about the reckless acts of a few representing the force as a whole. Plenty of arrests are made without anyone getting shot or killed.

Yeah, I don't buy the "few bad apples" defense anymore.

But I'm probably more jaded than you are about this.

My jadedness with this subject has definitely grown over the years. However, having recently eyewitnessed one case of an arrest with a very sketchy situation, and not a single bullet fired, not a single punch thrown... there are effective cops out there. They just don't make the news... because there is nothing special to report. They did their job right. The alleged criminal will go on trial, not be put in a body bag. The family of the alleged criminal will think as they need to, and not suing the city of $10 million. The papers... need to report on something more interesting.

Sure, but now have another member of that police force wrongfully kill an unarmed person and I would bet my house that the cop(s) you witnessed would be right there helping to circle the wagons around their fellow officer.

Which makes them just as bad imo.

Man shot by officer dies; protest continues

Andrew Thomas, 26, the man who was shot by Paradise police officer Patrick Feaster, died early Saturday morning, according to a spokeswoman at Enloe Medical Center.

So, now that the man is dead and his not being dead seemed to be the only reason cited as not being able to press any charges against the cop how soon will charges be pressed?

I'm sure there will need to be a 9 to 12 month long investigation period to find out even though it only took a few days for the initial "dude's not dead therefore there's nothing to charge Feaster with" report to come out.
