When there is no longer a credible threat of infection. Duh. We always knew there would, at some transitional point, be a requirement for positive identification of vaccinated persons for massive public gatherings. It wouldn't have ever happened in the first place if people had just worn their masks and socially distanced back in January. But no. You and many others like you threw a tantrum like little children over the expectation that you have the tiniest concern for your peers.

Where will this sort of thing stop? It will stop when and where reckless assholes stop getting the time of day and are expected to either sit outside the fire or quit pissing into it's flames and fuming us all with their nastiness.

Second vaccine reportedly above 90% effectiveness.

In Moderna's trial, 15,000 study participants were given a placebo, which is a shot of saline that has no effect. Over several months, 90 of them developed Covid-19, with 11 developing severe forms of the disease.

Another 15,000 participants were given the vaccine, and only five of them developed Covid-19. None of the five became severely ill.

This is good news. The one part that I still am concerned about:

Initially, there won't be enough vaccine for everyone. The highest priority groups, which include health care workers, the elderly, and people with underlying medical conditions, will get the vaccine first.

Health care workers are obviously health care workers. Elderly are the elderly, though there are 80 / 90 year olds and 70 years olds. Then the underlying medical conditions? How is the underlying medical condition going to be assessed, and are there conditions that put people ahead of line or just the first ones after health care workers and the elderly? Is there an actual plan?
