Because of AI we can no longer believe pictures.

IOW because of AI it’s open season on little girls.

The problem is there are so many fake photos and videos out there, that without someone who understands how to figure out if they are real or fake, we really can't trust what we see any more. For example, I had posted a link about AI generated fake videos regarding the war in Iran. The excellent reporters at the NYTimes were able to investigate and find the evidence that many of them were fake. A few months ago, there was an AI fake video of Racheal Maddow claiming that Trump was being arrested and my neighbor thought it was real. There have also been some of Doctor Gundry making false claims about a cure for Alzheimer's. That is the problem. The average person no longer knows what is real and what is fake due to fucking AI.

By the time Trump smeared his ugly visage and habitual dishonesty all over the American media landscape, I was already a long time holder of the belief that if I lacked the means to verify stuff myself, it was likely fake or badly slanted to the content creator’s thoughts and wants.
The average person NEVER DID know what was real or not.

I was intending to take tonight off, but there’s big news—I mean, aside from all the other big news—that I want to make sure gets attention.

Back on February 23, Daniel Ruetenik, Pat Milton, and Cara Tabachnick of CBS News reported on a newly uncovered document in the Epstein files showing that beginning in December 2010 under the Obama administration, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) was running an investigation of Jeffrey Epstein and fourteen other people for drug trafficking, prostitution, and money laundering.

The document showed the investigation, called “Chain Reaction,” was still underway in 2015. But the investigation disappeared, although the document suggested that it was a significant investigation and that the government was on the verge of indictments.

As soon as the story broke, Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon, the top-ranking Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee, said: “It appears Epstein was involved in criminal activity that went way beyond pedophilia and sex trafficking, which makes it even more outrageous that [Attorney General] Pam Bondi is sitting on several million unreleased files.”

What I find interesting is that Cesar Chavez has been taken down a few rungs recently with reporting.

There are far fewer documents regarding his alleged actions. But now he is a few rungs down based on what other women have said, and likely others have filled in the gaps.

Epstein has a treasure trove of documents and while Epstein is held responsible (well after the fact), everything else is in limbo. There is this huge conspiracy that is uncovered and nothing is coming of it. As if the entire Judicial System is in on it.

I want to know why Acosta hasn't been disbarred or even put in jail yet.

The Snopes link provides evidence that makes the conclusion that the promoter of the allegations is not credible. No where does it debunk the allegations. In fact, the link even states it does not show that the allegations are false.

Keep in mind that its the left leaning New York Times who did the investigation on CC. It occurred to me that possibly the impetus for doing this now might be related to the fact that CC was adamantly anti-illegal immigration from Mexico (calling them "illegals" and even "wetbacks"). That makes him a rather unpopular icon with the anti-ICE/pro-illegal immigration crowd. And with Epstein et al, we are in a "torches & pitchforks" mode about pedophelia and other forms of sexual misconduct. Those two attributes make him the archetype of a modern day Republican. A perfect storm to bring him down.

Competitors in the Miss Teen competition allege Trump did likewise to them. But it isn't clear that Trump bragged about doing that with the Miss Teen comp.

To conclude, at best, the Snopes link demonstrates Trump is a pervert. It is one thing to find it attractive, it is another thing to invade a person's privacy to do so!
