My Overview
The Donald Trump Presidential Liberry will contain a bunch of tacky shit and a paper shredder.
How dare you refer to kiddie porn as “tacky shit”!

ETA: points for “Liberry” 😂
:) I've pronounced it"Libbery" so often for years as a joke that I think I've forgotten that's not the right way to pronounce it. I' wonder if people think I'm "special" (as in Special Olympics)?

As a child, I recall myself and others being corrected on its pronunciation. Today, I hear adults mispronouncing it. It's quite noticeable. Of all words for an adult to mispronounce.
One thing I've never managed to correct is fantasizing about librarians.

That'd be funny to see the Donald Trump Presidential Library staffed by a bunch of Fox News-like bimbi.
I'd visit.

I could put this in the bullshit thread too.

My wife said this is terrorism. After a quick thought I agree.

I exclusively pronounce it the old fashioned way. "Librarium".

There have been other societies and other times when one man's mental illness dictated public policy and government actions. Who'd have thought this would come to the U.S., with all our alleged constitutional safeguards. (And who would have thought this man could find so many, many accomplices to repeat his deranged lies and fantasies.)
But here we are.

You know what is bizarrely ironic?

Team Trump couldn't competently get a pool liner installed, it turned into a multi million dollar disaster. But people think that Team Trump is competent enough to decide if an iconic tribute to Kennedy is structurally sound?
Seriously?
Tom

Trump knows shit about building standards.

Trump hired a swimming pool guy to repair a completely different type of pool. The guy didn't know what he was doing but he got paid well for it. Now he's getting paid well to fuck it up the same way he fucked it up the first time.

DJT/Kennedy Center:
As every master builder/contractor knows, you go with what you know. You build on success.
Exciting news from the DJT/KC board:
Atlantic Industrial Coatings will resurface all public spaces and backstage areas in the center. An inch-thick layer of epoxy will be topped with an inch of polyurethane and a final inch and a half of glossy acrylic. Trump: "People are saying it will be a lasagna pan of the toughest materials known to man. You could take a knife to it and you wouldn't leave a scratch."
Loge seats to be reupholstered in Arabian leopard pelts from Qatar. Trump: "No worries, we will leave one mating pair." Pelts to be sealed at all sewn edges with tincture of cobalt, cadmium bond, and raccoon semen from HHS. Trump: "Wait til you see the cadmium and cobalt glow when the lights go down -- like magic!"
Front row seats to be reupholstered in patriotic blue spandex and sealed with isocyanate and PCB-derived polymers from Kushner Discount Hazmat. Trump: "I can't even pronounce that shit, but he tells me it will look beautiful."
Cheaper seats (Dumocrat section)...provisional plan is to use hemorrhoid foam rings wrapped in waxed paper from Kraft. Trump: "Whatever the hell they do with those, I don't give a shit."
Proscenium, lobby, bathrooms to be coated in durable imitation gold leaf from Mattel.
The true Golden Age of American arts and culture is upon us. Project to be completed by June 2027, with the first cage fights on Independence Day.

Secret documents reveal donors behind $330 million for Trump’s ballroom. The records offer a panoramic view of a fundraising campaign that is extraordinary for its size and opacity.
A list obtained by The Washington Post reveals all the major donors to President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom project, including previously undisclosed contributors who have benefited from regulatory decisions, government contracts and, in one case, a pardon for a family member.

Tech giants Nvidia and Apple each committed $25 million, the top contribution amount, the list shows. The Adelson family, one of the GOP’s largest donor dynasties, committed that sum as well, as did billionaire Charles Ergen, co-founder and chairman of telecommunications company Dish Network.

Absent from the list is Trump himself, who has said that he is helping to pay for the project. “It’s being paid for a hundred percent by me and some friends of mine,” he said last year, days after demolition began on the old East Wing.
