Though I don't generally like laughing at peoples miss-fortune, I have a particular dislike for hate mongering Tony Perkins; as my redneck, evangelical in-laws support this fools Family Research Council's group. Praise Zeus for the irony!!!!
Well, it does make one have to ask just how many gays have been over to that guy's house? I'm not trying to imply anything here, but the implication behind my question was that he's secretly gay.

So, gays bring floods. Obviously floods are bad, so if the gays are to blame, gays are bad.
But when God loves us, he tests us with good floods. So floods are good, because they come from God, who would never harm us.
Except if we tolerate gays and gay rights and gay wedding cakes. So gays are bad because they make God dogay bad things, but God is good and cannot do bad things, even if the gays want bad things to happen to good people...

1) Is this the same Tony Perkins who keeps his dead mother in the basement? And was he able to dry her out so that she's reusable -- for whatever he does with her?
2) One common factor with the religiously obsessed is LID (low irony detector). He will see no connection with his past comments and this event. Just like Michele Bachmann -- anyone expect her to blush about her blather that God raised up the Trumpster, come the morning of Nov. 9???
